About

Josh worked for his family’s small concrete and masonry business for 17 years, starting out as a laborer and learning the craft of masonry. After several years in the field, he moved into the office as an estimator, project coordinator, and customer service expert. He learned that building relationships with customers, general contractors, and installation crews requires mutual respect, clear communication, and trust. Having lived in a few different houses, Josh appreciates home projects from the perspective of a customer and a service pro. As he continues to learn and grow his knowledge and skills with each home project, he knows there’s still a point where it makes sense to call a professional to do the job. Josh writes about a variety of topics for Angi, from painting to plumbing, and, of course, concrete and masonry.
