I started my search and found Jaime of Reyes Landscaping who contacted me immediately and came out at once to discuss possibilities. Let me tell you a few things, he was personable, honest, ready to get to work almost the next day and I hired his company, and folks, I couldn't be happier. "I hired Castro Landscaping to clean up some yard waste and remove a few large stones from the yard. After a hand-shake agreement on the work and price I paid half upfront and the other half upon completion. The clean-up of the yard waste went smoothly and as agreed. However, he left the large stones citing he did not have room and would be back the next day to remove them. He did not return, I contacted him again and he said he would pick them up the next day. He has not been back, and he has not responded to my attempts to contact him. My assumption is he will never return. This is likely due to the fact that I paid the second half before he completed the job. The owner is a friendly person, but he did not complete the job as agreed."

"I hired Manuel to remove a viburnum shrub from my yard. We discussed that I wanted the stump and roots totally removed so that I can plant something else in its place. He worked hard and I paid him the requested fee plus a tip. The next day, I realized that he had only cut the stump to ground level and then covered it all with dirt, leaving the stump and roots in the ground. I've texted him 3 times asking what happened and requesting that he complete the job that I paid him for and have not heard back yet. He was a really nice guy and I thought he did a great job at first. If he does respond to my texts to complete the job, I would be happy to edit this review to reflect the updated completed job."
