"For the past couple years Isidro and the team have been taking care of yard, not just mowing but also clearing out and spraying blackberry bushes, removing and reshaping bushes and trees, landscaping the edges, etc. My yard looks wonderful!"

"Douglas was responsive and fast. He was able to come out and give me a quote the same day I made the project request on Angi. He then completed what I asked the next day."

Customers say: True professional

"We called for an estimate for tilling but found a water leak while in the yard. His team came back later that day and fixed the leak. The yard was done today. They were on time, did a good job, cleaned up afterwards and were great. We will use them in the spring for mulch and hard scape and irrigation. Our new go to resource."

"A crew of two came to help clean up the seriously insane amount of gravel and weed fabric strewn throughout our property. The team showed up on time, hauled and dug everything out, and made everything level and nice to start rebuilding good soil. Hard working, finished within projected project timeline, and kind folks - 10/10 would hire again!"

Small jobs welcome

"I have been getting bark blown in for 16 years, and have used several different companies in the metro area.  This is the first time I have used Red Bark.  They did an amazing job.  You might be thinking - how difficult can this be?  Well, spraying it in is not the problem - it's the mess that gets left behind.  All companies that I have used have blown off sidewalks/patios with a handheld blower after they are done.  I'm usually left with the instructions to water, or turn on the sprinklers because the bark is hot on the plants.   But the Red Bark team not only blew it off, they hosed off my patio, rock wall boulders, and the plants.  I usually count on a couple of hours of work after this gets done.  Not today. Thank you Red Bark team!"

Small jobs welcome

"Out of multiple responses to my yard cleanup and shrub trimming request , Jaime Reyes was the first to respond and get the job. Easy communication and advice for the job. Reasonable pricing too. He is the best I’ve ever had and is very professional and efficient. I will definitely use his service again without a doubt. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

Mulch and Topsoil questions, answered by experts

Delivery distance, material type and quantity, provider rates, and ease of access to your location all impact overall costs. Requesting an upfront quote can help inform budget planning.

You can choose from various kinds of organic mulch and inorganic mulch. Organic mulch may be in the form of wood chips, pine needles, and compost and eventually decompose. Inorganic mulch, such as gravel, rocks, and landscape fabric, is more durable but doesn’t help the soil.

Yes, mulch can attract pests. Spiders, centipedes, and ants are some common pests that are attracted to mulch. You can avoid infestation by laying your bags of mulch in the heat for a few hours or by using an inorganic mulch, as it’s less attractive to pests.

Yes, you need to use landscape fabric under your rubber mulch. Rubber mulch doesn’t decompose, so putting landscape fabric down can work as a barrier between your mulch and soil, preventing your mulch from mixing with your soil and leaching chemicals like aluminum, cadmium, and copper into it. Also, since weeds can occasionally get through rubber mulch, using landscape fabric as a second form of protection can increase its effectiveness.

Yes. One of the main benefits of organic mulch is weed prevention. Organic mulch forms a physical barrier that blocks light and stops weeds from germinating. It can reduce your need to weed and improve the physical appearance of your garden.
