Castros Landscaping

I hired Castro Landscaping to clean up some yard waste and remove a few large stones from the yard. After a hand-shake agreement on the work and price I paid half upfront and the other half upon completion. The clean-up of the yard waste went smoothly and as agreed. However, he left the large stones citing he did not have room and would be back the next day to remove them. He did not return, I contacted him again and he said he would pick them up the next day. He has not been back, and he has not responded to my attempts to contact him. My assumption is he will never return. This is likely due to the fact that I paid the second half before he completed the job. The owner is a friendly person, but he did not complete the job as agreed.

I had to get a long parking strip filled with lava rocks and Carlos and his team did an excellent job knocking the project out from quote to finish in just a few days at a very affordable price. I would strongly recommend!

I have had horrible draining issues in my big backyard. Carlos came out quickly and listened to what I had to say. He also picked up the phone whenever I called. His dad also was pivotal with all the experience that he has. Their team cut a huge ditch to install a French drain and cut in several veins leading to the ditch. They caught leaking sprinkler valves from a bad install and fixed it. They added dirt in low points and rock near my house. They found a broken 4x4 on my back fence and fixed that. They realized a lot of water run off came from my neighbors property, so they cut a deep ditch along that fence to push the water to a better draining point. They added seed to the areas they worked also. Lots of great experience and really good people. Hire them.

I had a time sensitive project that needed to be completed. Carlos and his team made it happen for me! He listened to my needs, gave excellent advise and delivered as promised. He was able to help me with my home in Rockaway Beach OR where most companies would not service. I highly recommend this company.

Over the top on everything! Plants are in a perfect line! Unbelievable how Carlos made sure the plants were "perfect " and I mean perfect!!!!

I hired them after an initial consultation and a payment upfront for yard clean-up and bi-weekly maintenance. They were hard to schedule for the first clean-up but did a good job when they made it out although a large component was left off the project. Then they never came back and I felt like it was too hard to schedule the first time so I never tried to contact them and decided to go with a different company.

I hired Castros for a one time back yard clean up and front and side yard maintenance. They did the first mowing on the day we planned, and did a nice job. That was 2 weeks ago and they haven't been back to mow the front again. Now it is the Holiday weekend, I am hoping that they will come by soon to mow the front. I will have a better idea how well I like them once we get on a regular schedule.

Ive had 3 landscapers prior to hiring Carlos Vega and his crew. He is far and away the best we've had. He is a DESIGN LANDSCAPER. Not a yard maintenance guy. If you want seriously good work, hire him!

Carlos has been very knowledgeable and punctual and has done a great job.

So far so good with Carlos. Just have had one visit so far but that was very good. Hopefully, it will work out for the longterm.

Jose and Carlos provided exceptional service and went beyond what my husband and I requested. We are so happy with the results in our yard. They rebuilt our rock wall that was falling down in the front of our house, added to our rock walls in the back, added nice landscaping features, hardscaped the paths from front to back, fixed some fencing, did some heavy landscaping, moved dirt where they removed it to other parts of our yard that needed more dirt, shored up our concrete driveway and installed a rain-sense sprinkler system. They went above and beyond with their customer service making sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend them for any landscaping or other project. They are top notch at a reasonable price and so very personable and easy to work with.
