6 Employees. No Subs. Cost Is Determined By The Job. When we started our company back in 1959, a home visit by an Aqua Systems sales representative was the most convenient way to discover the attributes of our products. But families today are a lot more time-starved. You may want the best quality water, but a 90-minute presentation in your living room is not necessarily the best use of your time.

"I purchased a very rural home in 2017 and found it had very hard water with lots of iron. Aqua Systems fixed everything. The home's water system was leased from a company that begins with "H". Their system constantly allowed iron to leak through ruining clothes. Bath and dish water would turn dark in just a few minutes. I bought Iron Out in bulk. They were out twice a month for 8 months trying to fix and tweek the system. "H" even replaced the both the softener and iron filter with no success. As a result, I contacted six different water treatment providers, brought them each into my home for water testing and sales pitches. I researched water treatment and read up from different extension offices. (University of Georgia and Penn State both have a lot of info online). I can tell you half the salesmen didn't know what they were talking about. Mike Jackson with Aqua Systems was the exception. He knew exactly what was going on and how to treat it. They also offered the latest technology in dealing with the iron. "H" had old school tech (potassium permanganate) which Lowes or Home Depot doesn't even sell anymore to maintain the system. Plus it is a harmful chemical. I was hesitant to purchase a system since I was burned by the lease from "H". I thought they had the answer when I signed a lease. I was able to get out of their lease since they didn't keep their end of the lease - they didn't provide good water. Aqua Systems gave me a lease with the option to buy. Try out their product and 100% satisfaction guarantee. It has been more than six months now and I could not be happier with our water. Not one problem with iron and a R/O system with incredible pressure. Trust me. I did all the research... I interviewed all the companies. You will be happy with Aqua Systems."

"They put in a new in-ground pool (16x36), concrete deck, automatic cover, and heater in 2022. Putting in a pool is painful. Period. Never having done it before, I didn't realize the number of potential issues (weather delays, supply backorders, defective equipment, etc.), and we started during the pandemic. Yes, communication could have been better, but (giving them the benefit of the doubt) they probably didn't always know when they were going to come out with the weather constantly changing, equipment being delayed over and over again, and other customer needs being more critical. At the end of the day, if it were not for Jeremiah, I would not have a pool (because without him, I would not have been willing to spend the amount of money many were asking, he was cost-effective when he put mine in). He did not really take any longer than anyone else would have during the pandemic. He did go periods without getting back to me, but in general, he was able to answer 85% of my calls and 95% of my texts on the first attempt and all eventually. Building a pool is a marathon, not a sprint. Patience is your friend. Update as of 10/13/2023 They put in a new in-ground pool (16x36), concrete deck, automatic cover, and heater in 2022. "They walked me through over the phone modifying the tub settings to work with the weather we are having now and suggested what to do when the weather changes again. The instructions in the manual and on line were substantially less complete. The tub is working like a charm. They provided great service in a timely fashion. I will call again when I have another issue."

COMPLETE POOL SERVICE WHERE ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SWIM . At the age of 15, I was hired by Pacific Pools of Columbus, Ohio to help clean swimming pools. Very quickly word got around and in no time, I was cleaning and repairing several pools in the area. By the time I was in my early 20's, I was maintaning 44 pools a week and had serviced virtually every type of pool, spa, and backyard concievable. I worked as a maintenance/repair technician for a decade and began to take on larger projects such as pool remodeling, which I find very fulfilling. I believe I get the opportunity every day to take something outdated and run down and give it new life, creating something stunning It wasn't until about 20 years ago that I felt my knowledge in the field was then adequate to begin designing and constructing new swimming pools, spas, and water features. I believe that to create something on that scale you should understand all angles and aspects of the industry. Because of the many years I cleaned pools, everything I design and build is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also low maintenance and user friendly. Not only do I strive to build a high quality product, but I strive to give high quality customer service. It is a specific goal of mine to listen to my customers and give them what they want: a unique backyard oasis, a place of fun and gathering. I love to get to know the people and the families that I work for, and I want my customers to feel like they have a friend in their "pool man". I feel I have been successful in that endeavor and my list of referrals is ever-growing. Additional website www.marzettipool.com

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

Hot tub heaters typically last seven to 10 years, though some might only last five years if not properly maintained. You can maximize your hot tub heater’s lifespan by ensuring the water’s pH level is properly balanced.

Unfortunately, a hot tub does use a relatively large amount of electricity. In fact, much of the money you spend on your hot tub will go toward electricity costs to keep the water heated. A typical hot tub will use anywhere from 1,500 to 6,000 watts of electricity per month.

In most cases, it is safe to clean a hot tub with vinegar. You will want to verify that your hot tub manufacturer lists vinegar as a safe cleaning product; however, given that vinegar is chemical-free, cleans, deodorizes, and is safe for people and pets, it is usually a good option. You can use vinegar to clean the hot tub shell, interior and exterior spa surfaces, hot tub jets, hot tub filter, and other parts. It is considered a strong, safe, and natural cleanser that can kill bacteria, remove mold and mildew spores, erase water spots, and remove hard water stains.

Yes, you can use silicone or epoxy hot tub repair kits to repair cracks in a hot tub. Always read the manual to see what the manufacturer recommends before attempting to repair a hot tub.

You’ll know you need to replace the pump in your hot tub if you hear loud or unusual noises when the machine is running or notice a significant decrease in water pressure. A leak or altogether failure of the hot tub may also indicate a problem with the pump, but you’ll need a professional to investigate the source of the issue.
