About us

COMPLETE POOL SERVICE WHERE ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SWIM . At the age of 15, I was hired by Pacific Pools of Columbus, Ohio to help clean swimming pools. Very quickly word got around and in no time, I was cleaning and repairing several pools in the area. By the time I was in my early 20's, I was maintaning 44 pools a week and had serviced virtually every type of pool, spa, and backyard concievable. I worked as a maintenance/repair technician for a decade and began to take on larger projects such as pool remodeling, which I find very fulfilling. I believe I get the opportunity every day to take something outdated and run down and give it new life, creating something stunning It wasn't until about 20 years ago that I felt my knowledge in the field was then adequate to begin designing and constructing new swimming pools, spas, and water features. I believe that to create something on that scale you should understand all angles and aspects of the industry. Because of the many years I cleaned pools, everything I design and build is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also low maintenance and user friendly. Not only do I strive to build a high quality product, but I strive to give high quality customer service. It is a specific goal of mine to listen to my customers and give them what they want: a unique backyard oasis, a place of fun and gathering. I love to get to know the people and the families that I work for, and I want my customers to feel like they have a friend in their "pool man". I feel I have been successful in that endeavor and my list of referrals is ever-growing. Additional website www.marzettipool.com

I have been wanting a pool for a long time and finally I got the husband's approval. We saved and interviewed pool company's for more than a year we finally decided on Marzetti swimming pools kash came out and brought a crew of guys and put in a swimming pool I could only have dreamed of we were so thankful of his knowledge kash never strayed he stuck with us building our swimming pool from start to finish most pool companies have three or four pools going on He made sure to schedule us and only us building our swimming pool. At that time we asked for salt water and an automatic cover. And that's what we got . Thanks kash for all the hard work

We are a condominium complex with a 22 year old pool. Last year, Marzetti Pools repaired a wall that was caving in on our pool. They did a fantastic job reinforcing the wall and repairing the concrete decking on that side of the pool. This year, Marzetti Pools resurfaced the concrete in our pool so that we never have to drain the pool to paint it again and our pool looks brand new! Kash Marzetti, the owner, is very knowledgeable, honest and reliable and was quick to respond with any questions we had. His crew was great to work with and they did a fantastic job! We will continue to hire Marzetti Pools for any future issues that we may with our pool. They are the best!

The best of the best! We hired Marzetti Pools to re-surface our 20 year old pool 2 weeks ago. Kash was super communicative, I learned more about pools talking to him than in 20 years going through pool company after pool company in Columbus. Pool was plastered in Diamond Brite Black Onyx. It looks so good! This thing has been a weight on me for the last couple years and Marzetti took that weight away. I can't say it enough-Hire this company!

Kash at Marzetti pools is a lifesaver! We had been working with another pool builder who had been stringing us along for over a year and eventually abandoned the job. Kash had heard about our issues and reached out to us and offered to finish the project for us. Within a week the pool was complete and looks great! If you are looking for help with your pool do yourself a favor and give Marzetti Pools a call.

The process to apply Diamond Brite was very dusty but the crew was efficient and the result was great. It is beautiful and the water is crystal clear and easier to maintain than a painted bottom

Kash showed up the same day of me calling him, he then surveyed the damage and explained to me the different options he had in mind which I approved. The automation system was a wonderful addition and now we have a heat pump which saves us literally thousands of dollars every year. Kash recommed a salt system and a special type of a robot for my pool that also saved me thousands of dollars every year. I noticed that nobody smoked or wore flip flops. I then asked Kash and he said Marzetti Pools is a smoke free company. I also asked Kash how he could be here everyday then he explained to me that when we do one job we do one job only and do it very well. All the other companies and the company that cracked my wall anticipated that it would take seven to nine months to fix. With all of the additions and addons we were swimming in just over two weeks. Thanks again Marzetti Pools.

Kash installed a concrete pool with plaster, tile, covered lights, a heater, an automation system, and automatic cover. Two of my neighbors had pools put in and it took over 9 months and they aren't as elaborate as mine. My pool only took 3 months! Best part is the hot tub he installed that's inside the pool. Can't wait to have friends over!

great. This guy knows his stuff. He gave us great info for prep and to help us complete the steps we could do ourselves, and then his crew came in and took over, finishing the work in 3 days- one for prep and precoat, one for plaster, one to install the equipment. he coordinated with water delivery and they showed up as they screwed down the drain cover. This stuff isn't cheap, but I do feel like we got our money's worth based one knowledge level, customer service and quality of the job.

Kash is extremely knowledgeable about pools. He has been such a great resource for my family. When my husband and I originally bought property with the intention of building a home and a pool, I turned to Angie's List for a provider, and that's how I found Kash. I explained over the phone to Mr. Marzetti what I was hoping to accomplish, and Kash offered his vast wealth of knowledge on the topic of pools. He literally shared his expertise with me for almost an hour on the phone that day. Actually, he explained all of the options to me, and one of the options he offered was actually for a hybrid fiberglass pool wall that was only able to be installed by a different pool builder in columbus. I was very impressed with his willingness to share so many valuable details. When our hybrid pool was being installed, Kash was calling me to make sure that we made all the correct decisions with the equipment, with the concrete decking texture, color and profile/forms, and suggesting the option of installing custom tiles in the plaster, giving information about where we can order. He came to my home several times during the pool build and helped with the brainstorming for the construction of the very unique custom pool stairs. We really appreciated his input on all of these very important decisions! Kash dropped off samples of plaster and offered a website so we can decide on our colors, and his suggestions were very unique. We ordered our custom turtle tiles, and Kash coordinated delivery of diamond brite plaster. He sent over 5 or 6 very experienced and professional plaster installers that worked all day to complete the install. We used two colors, a super blue for the floor (to simulate the caribbean sea) and a mojave beige for the sun shelf and stairs (to simulate sand). it turned out amazing!. Then, Kash sent over a large water truck to fill the pool and showed me how to properly maintain everything. He provided so much information and  instruction? far more than what was expected. He does not care if you choose him, he just wants you to get exactly what you want. You can tell he does all of this for his love of pools and his love for satisfying the customer!

I called Marzetti's at 7:30 AM and told Kash that we had been working to clean our pool for 6 weeks without results. We had guests coming for the weekend and were desperate. He said he would get here that afternoon. He came as promised and immediately diagnosed the problem. Within a few hours the difference was amazing! He was here for several hours and went over absolutely everything pertaining to the pool. We learned more during this time than we learned from the other pool companies we had contacted previously as well as the company that installed the pool. He even called the next day to make sure everything was going as planned. Kash was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We won't call anyone else from now on!

Two men arrived on the date and time we agreed on.  They worked in a timely manner installing the chair and cleaning up after themselves. AND they took the time to show me how to work it too!  Another thing I want to point out, Mr. Marzetti himself is always available, just a phone call away!  That in itself says something for this company!!  I called with a few questions because I was having trouble clearing the pool and HE answered the phone and  gave me the information I needed WITHOUT trying to sell me anything!!  He gave me helpful tips on what NOT to do when closing our pool and saved me hundreds of dollars!!  It isn't easy to find an honest good man as we all know!  I'm a 72-year-old woman on a budget and this company saved the day for us!   Other pool company's sold me chemicals that didn't work and kept coming back with more treatments that didn't work!   So you can call Marzetti Pools at (614)206-6811 and get the job done right at a price you can afford!  For real!  We can't wait to enjoy our pool this summer!

Fall 2014 we hired Kash Marzetti to asses the pool liner and eventually evolved into us contracting him to replace the liner in our in ground pool and replace decorative concrete around the pool/patio. Kash stated that the liner was falling apart being brittle and that a foam layer underneath the lining had lost all cushion and both the liner and foam liner needed to be replaced. We had 3 to 5 appointments for him to inspect the pool describe his plan to replace the concrete, bring samples and tear out the existing liner. Of the 3 to 5 meetings he was late or did not show without even calling. Unfortunately his facade of professionalism and competence clouded our judgement and we moved forward with the contract. The expected result would be a concrete patio with the same texture and pattern as the original concrete work in addition to the pool liner/foam replacement, new automatic chlorination system and minor fitting change outs. The pool liner was removed and portions of the concrete patio were jack hammered and removed from the premises. The installers began putting in the liner but neglected to replace the foam lining underneath the original liner. We called Kash and Kash claimed the installers stated that they had replaced the foam, but the new roll was still in our garage. This was the first time of many that Kash used his "Well my guy told me he did do .... " when in fact he has no clue, is rarely on-site and places work in unqualified hands. The installers removed the liner, scraped the old foam off and the next day installed the new foam and installed the new liner. Clearly they saw the scraping of the old foam as an inconvenience and tried to shortcut the job. After the liner was installed we filled with a garden hose for several hours only to find the liner floating near the bottom drain. The installers messed up the bottom drain in putting the liner in ( i don’t recall the details). We then purchased 10,000  gallons of water via a truck service to fill the pool only to find the water level dropping 2” in 8 hours. Kash tried to explain that it was evaporation and that it wouldn’t continue to drop. We then marked the liner with a sharpie and tape and made him agree that if it drops overnight that there is definitely a leak that he would have to locate and fix. It dropped. It was October by this time and air temperatures were in the 40-50s and he said he would pay for our gas bill to heat the pool so he could enter and fix the leaks (he never paid our gas bill). He entered the pool and found the when the installers put the new liner in they removed a plug seal in the light housing and did not replace it. Furthermore, we saw that the liner around the steps wasn’t right, it looked sloppy. In addition to a sloppy liner cut the installers did not tighten the screws on the seal between the liner and steps. Kash tightened them. Kash turned the pool pump on and it ran overnight and the water continued to drop. The next day we found they had not tightened the plumbing around the pool pump and so Kash dumped several thousand gallons into our house footer. Kash admitted to not tightening the plumbing. Kash turned his focus to the concrete. Concrete work was delayed several days due to his scheduling errors. Finally the truck arrives (November) at 4PM. By the time the concrete was set for edging, leveling and stamping it was 8PM and 40F and Kash and his crew are working in pitch black with no lights, not even a single flashlight. UNBELIEVABLE. At one point Kash had one of his crew balancing in a tree with a 200 lumen LED light that I had quickly found for them. I borrowed contractor lighting from a neighbor. The next morning we were mortified with their work. Aside from the absolute mess of concrete coloring agent covering EVERYTHING (there were mounds of it in the newly lined pool and steps), the concrete is/was atrocious. Concrete was splattered over the automatic pool cover railings, onto the coping of the pool, mounded at edges were the new concrete met the old concrete, over the pool steps. There are footprints in the concrete. Kash placed an in concrete 6’ drain that is out of parallel with the pool steps by 4” FOUR INCHES NOT PARALLEL! The edges of the concrete are not square nor inline with the existing concrete, the concrete slopes into the pool on one side and slopes down to one corner of the patio. To make things worse, Kash’s crew (without Kash), showed up the next day to acid wash the concrete and perform general clean up. The acid wash overdone and nonuniform and resulted in exposing patches of aggregate in the concrete. I have pictures of all of this and it is absolutely worse than you can imagine. It is not even close to being a decorative finish, it looks like a crappy concrete slab. We had 4 independent contractors come and give us their opinions on the job and corrective action. In summary, “it looks like this is their first concrete pour” “it is as bad as you think it is” “did you do this yourself?” “... truly awful.” I invited Kash over to explain himself. He spent the first 20 minutes trying to convince us it was a good job, that the drain was actually parallel and that a cut line that he put in the concrete was creating an optical illusion, that the grade was fine…. everything was fine and that I was being “too picky”. He even claimed that a lump in his concrete was actually because my original concrete had settled, after pulling up the poll cover I exposed that our existing concrete was perfectly level with the pool and that his lumpy concrete was crap. I could go on and on about the excuses and lies he told to cover his crappy job. He finally agreed to rip up the concrete and redo it. That is the last time I have seen him - November. He left us with a filthy pool, disassembled automatic pool cover, splattered with concrete, uninstalled automatic chlorinator and a tremendous eyesore of a patio.

We LOVE Marzetti Pools!  Kash educated us about everything related to our pool, and we have enjoyed it every day since.  He knew we wanted to have it ready quickly because 50 people were coming over for our grandson's birthday party, and even though that meant really pushing the schedule, they got it done and we had a wonderful pool party.  Kash continued to come back every day until everything was finished and just the way we wanted it.
I have to also say that the crew had a good work ethic and they all were very nice.

It went well.  They finished in 3 days. Replaced two collapsed walls.  Replaced all plywood walls and 2 by 4s in the walls of the pool.  Installed previously bought vinyl liner.   Reset bricks in the walkway. At the end of each day they cleaned up the work space and carrier away the trash. The supervisor spent one half day cleaning up area and trimming the adjoining flower bed after being fully paid.  We were so pleased with the work that we tipped workers $500.  Previous estimate for the repair was $14,000.
