"We needed to connect our patio to our deck stairs and lower concrete patio. We also had a steep slope we needed a stair-type solution to. Jake came out and went over the details with us. We decided to replace the current square concrete block patio under the pergola with a round paver patio that connected everything. Jake also recommended a large natural stone block stair to deal with the slope. After getting the estimate we were pleased and went ahead and paid the half up-front to get it on the books. They were able to start only a couple months later and spent a good week working on the project. The old patio was torn down and the blocks carefully stacked. Yard damage was minimized and a very nice patio and path was built. The initial stairs connecting to the concrete patio wasn't exactly what we wanted, and Jake had it rebuilt with no complaints and no additional cost. We are extremely pleased with how everything turned-out, and would definitely recommend them."

"My elderly mom's garage door broke, and she was extremely upset. Having seen TV ads for Highfield, I called them around 815a and they were able to send someone that afternoon. I assumed it was broken springs. Repair tech Johnny came in, took one look and said, "it's not the springs". He examined everything, determined that it was something relatively simple, replaced/adjusted that, and tightened up all the other connections, etc. Then he looked at the opener and determined that it was not connected to the door quite right. He spent a lot more time making those adjustments, testing/re-testing, and even fixed a lightbulb socket on the opener . Got the door fixed, got the door opening/closing correctly. Johnny was very polite, personable, knowledgeable, throrough. All for under $140! Meanwhile, mom's happy. And when mom's happy, evvvvveryone is happy!!!"

This allows me to keep it simple, and give my customers the respect that they deserve from start to finish. Also because my company is so small, I do not accept credit cards, but will gladly accept a personal check or cash. I am licensed as a roofer for the city of Columbus, also bonded, and insured.

"I called James at 7:30 on Monday morning. I explained that after the weekend storms I discovered a leak coming through the roof. James told me he could be out the same day. At 1:00 James called me and arrived at my home. He assessed the leak, took a photo to show me the problem and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. I've seen no leaking since then. Had a tech out too as they continuously called me to schedule service making me believe had purchased an annual power wash. Guy came out said it was just a sales call so I sent him away. If I'd been informed while he was here that it I didn't act before a certain date I would be charged I would've been able to make a more educated decision."
