Guyton Tree Care & Stump Removal

Guyton showed up with all the right equipment and a well trained, courteous staff. They took down a very large maple tree behind our garage and trimmed a couple of trees. They did an awesome job - really knew what they were doing, and really cleaned up when they were done. We will definitely hire them again.

The crew was prompt, on time, efficient and very professional. Josh is knowledgable and conservative in his recommendations.

First, I researched Angie’s List reading all of the reviews for businesses with A ratings. I then selected the several I considered to be the best and arranged for estimates. Mr. Guyton seemed to have the qualities I was looking for – professionalism, personable, no money required until the job was done and I was satisfied, knowledgeable, no pressure and sensible recommendations. He also said that once he starts he would come every day, except Sundays, until the job was complete. We had 5 hardwood trees removed, 8 pine trees removed, stumps removed and 5 trees trimmed. The ground was very wet because of recent rains. In order to move the bucket truck into place, the crew used 4 x 8 boards under the wheels to protect from causing ruts. They rotated boards from the back to the front as they moved the truck into place. They exceeded our expectations with the extent they went to in order to protect the ground from ruts. Two huge trees extended over the house. Our septic tank was centered in between these two trees and the leaching lines were directly behind them. Mr. Guyton exceeded our expectations with the extreme precautions and care that he took to protect the roof and septic system. Mr. Guyton and one of his crew climbed into the tall trees and trimmed them from within. They removed the dead branches and shaped the trees very nicely. Here again they exceeded our expectations. I have had stumps removed before, but never like Mr. Guyton did it. He spent a whole day removing stumps. Using the huge stump removing machine, Mr. Guyton went about a foot below the surface removing the stump and surrounding roots. Again, my expectations were exceeded. Each of Mr. Guyton’s crew has been with him for more than five years. They all are polite and hardworking. They work very well together and are very efficient. They listened to our request for certain aspects and also asked us for our preferences on things. For instance they wanted to know where we wanted the wood stacked or whether we preferred some items hauled away. I highly recommend “Guyton Tree Care and Stump Removal “. They did the entire job in three days. They were very considerate and careful with every step. They removed all of the brush, stacked the wood, and left the ground very clean of debris. They consistently exceeded our expectations. I feel that we easily got our money’s worth and then some.

Took all precautions to stay safe. Nothing hit the house or any other surrounding trees. Had all required insurance. Would hire again!

Mr. Guyton was very professional in all my dealings with him, form the time he gave my the free estimate till it was all done and paid for.  The job only took a couple hours. He and his crew were very personal, friendly and worked as a team to get the job done as quickly as possible. I would hire this crew again.

Josh Guyton was excellent through the whole process. The pear tree was in a tight spot in the backyard, they easily took it down and ground the stump with very hardly any damage to the yard. The crew trimmed up a large Maple in the front yard.  Josh advised us of some rotting in the tree and said it would likely have to come down in the next few years, he never pressured us to have more work done than what we asked. His rates were incredibly affordable and was very professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing any level of tree care on their property. I will absolutely be calling him the next time.

Josh Guyton and his crew were very professional. They cleaned up everything very nicely too. I would recommend them for anyone who needs a tree service.

Josh and his crew were excellent.  I was very concerned because my tree was close to a gas line.  They were extra careful and hand carried each piece off tree.  They also cleaned up in a very professional manner. I would definitely hire them again.  Josh answered all of my questions and was very patient.  He and his workers are top notch.

Josh and crew did an excellent job. His crew was friendly and was impressed with their clean-up. With all the trees and stumps we had it only took him 4 days...and it was cold outside. Highly recommend Guyton tree service.

Josh was very professional and did all of the climbing and cutting himself.  His ground crew seemed very efficient and professional also, and they handled the ground cutting and stacking and they all did the clean up.
Reasonable price, professional, courteous, and considerate of your landscape. And they clean up after themselves. Communication could be improved, but compared to the service industry in general, they still rank in the top quartile there also.
We would definitely use them again.

I called them this morning and left a message. I  got a return call quickly and was told someone could come by this afternoon. Josh called before he came. Very nice young man.  He quoted us a price of $50 and had his equipment with him so he was able to get it done right away. He had all the stump and roots ground up in less than an hour. He even loaded the freshly made mulch into 2 of our wheelbarrows for us.  He didn't seem bothered when I asked him a few other tree related questions unrelated to the stump removal.  Couldn't have done any better!

Excellent!! We have been having a lot of rain and Josh had every opportunity to forget about finishing the job but  he always kept in contact with me and he kept his word. As far as I'm concerned this will be the only tree service that I will deal with.

They did a great job!  They've got the equipment and know-how to get the job done.  They were professional, courteous, punctual, and helpful.  Took them about two days to complete the job--and our yard and property look 1000% better.  They hauled everything away.  Very reasonable pricing.  FYI, we had a large, dead blue spruce cut down (not stumped) about six weeks ago by another company recommended to us--which charged us $450--for one tree. 
I'd highly recommend Guyton Tree Care to anyone wanting a quality job at a fair price.
