Mr. Appliance responded to my call quickly and the tech was much more knowledgeable about the Kitchenaid product than "Factory Authorized" provider was. Very good communication skills, explained what was wrong and what was needed to fix the problem. Very reasonable price. I was actually working with a home warranty and they talked to the technician directly and the technician clearly communicated what was wrong and parts needed for repair. The warranty company then asked technician for the estimate. When the technician gave the estimate the warranty company response was " Is that all?". So I feel very confident I got a very fair price. "To be fair, the Appliance Installer guys did a great job on installing a new rigid duct for my dryer. However, I needed to have them come out a few more times to help fix the original problem which was that the dryer was not drying my clothes like it used to. They replaced at least one part that didn't actually need to be replaced and didn't fix the problem. In the end, I hired a Maytag certified repair person who finally properly diagnosed the drying problem and fixed it. It's just too bad that it took three different technicians and over $500 total to get the problem completely resolved."
