"It started with a Home Depot add. They advertised installation at Home Depot so I went home and got on Angie's list to check their reviews. Everything that I reviewed was excellent so I called to set up the appointment. They came out and gave me an estimate and scheduled a date for the install. They were mostly on time with everything they did. When I say mostly they missed the mark by about 2 hours. In the grand scheme of things that was not a big deal. They were able to set it up and have it up and running in 1 day. (although they were there until 9pm at night working on it.) After a few days I noticed that I had water leaking from the drain pan. I called them and they set up an appointment for 2 days later. When the guy finally showed up he had no equipment with him not even a flashlight. He looked it over and told me that he needed to make a phone call and would be right back in. After 15 minutes or so he came back in and told me that he would be back tomorrow with some tools to fix the problem. He told me that they would have to reseal the lower unit ( I have a downdraft system). He told me to continue using it as necessary. The next day he did come back and reseal the unit. For a few days the problem was gone. I did notice though that the house was not getting cool and I could hear the outside unit running even when the inside unit was shut off. The water was starting to leak again so I called them back. They came out later that week because I had to go out of town on business and wanted to be there to see what was going on. When they got there they spent an hour or so diagnosing the issue. What they found was a wiring issue inside the unit. It was causing the compressor to run all of the time and freezing up the inside unit. This is what was causing the leak and the lack of really cool air. After that was fixed I waited a few days to make sure nothing else was going to go wrong before I put the washer/dryer and dishwasher back in place. This is where I ran into another problem. When they installed the new unit they didn't run the copper line exactly where the old ones had been. This made it so that I could not fit everything back where it was. I had to call them again and they came back out to see what the problem was. Once I explained it to them and showed them the issue they were glad to redo it for me. They scheduled a date and came back out to repair the issue. I was not home but my wife and son were. Not only did they fix the copper lines but the moved the washer/dryer and dishwasher back into place and hooked everything up. I know it sounds like a lot of issues but I have to say that Logan Services did exactly what they said they would do. I live in an old house and I am used to things not going as planned. I would highly recommend them for any repairs. They people were very courteous and considerate. The reason I waited so long to post a review is I wanted to make sure that the furnace worked as well and everything is as good as gold.  I have recommended them to my neighbors and I will use them in the future. Great company and great people.

"I checked my downspouts today with all the rain we are having and its all going to the street. I am super happy and they are a good group of guys working for this company. If my backyard still floods I will have stay dry back out again to install a french drain in my backyard for my next project."

"They corrected issues with insufficient drainage of water from downspouts by installing drains to release water much further from the house. Water had been leaking past the water main and ground loops for our ground source heat pump into our basement. The only issue was they didn’t include tamping, seeding etc. for where they trenched the new drain lines, so you need ti do that yourself or contract another provider."

French Drains questions, answered by experts

Using less toilet paper is the easiest way to prevent future clogs. Also, avoid flushing sanitary products, thick paper towels, or hair down the toilet. If you’ve been using a brick in the tank to reduce the water used to flush the toilet, take it out immediately. Bricks will eventually fall apart and clog your toilet drain. Keeping your toilet lid closed also helps avoid future clogs.

If you don’t have a sewer cleanout, clearing out clogs can be extremely difficult. You would need to try to clear the clog from sink drains, but it can be harder to reach the clog all the way in the drain line. A sewer cleanout makes it much faster and easier for pros to clear clogs from your main sewer line.

Vinegar is better for an AC drain line because it’s less corrosive and won’t damage the pipes. It’s also a safer and easier product to use. Bleach should not be used on your AC drain line because it can corrode your pipes and harm the evaporator coil in your air conditioner.

A saturated leach field can result from various underlying issues, so it's best to call a professional septic company to diagnose and treat the problem. Depending on the cause of the saturation, potential fixes include pumping out a full septic tank, adding more bacteria to the tank, or regrading the soil to fix low spots. It may also be necessary to reroute rainwater and runoff away from the leach field using gutters, downspouts, and extenders. Once the primary issue is resolved, planting specific types of vegetation over the area can help absorb excess water. In more severe cases, you might need to install a larger septic tank or replace the leach field entirely.

Most blockages can be cleared in 1-3 hours, but severe issues may take longer.
