"Eric did a TREMENDOUS job with closing my pool. As a first time pool-owner, Eric took time to explain details and his process to me. I will be hiring him when it's time to re-open the pool next year! I HIGHLY recommend Eric for your next pool project of any kind!"

"The pool took longer than we were originally told it would take. Considering it was peak season to build a pool I guess we can overlook that. The communication was good on everything else and the guys that built the pool were very clean and courteous. They built me an awesome pool. Steve told us what products he felt were the best to go with, yet he gave us information on the other products that he doesn't recommend so that we could make our own decision. From that point on we did our research and decided to go with what Steve suggested. We live in our pool now, and feel like we've made a friend with Mega Pools."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

Depending on the type of land survey, the report will mark the boundaries of your property, the topographical changes of the landscape, as well as major natural and added structures to the plot. A more detailed survey, like an as-built survey, will note the measurements of the structures and landscape following major construction. A topographic survey will also help your contractor determine the cost of land development projects.

A professional land surveyor ensures accurate property boundaries and prevent legal disputes.

The longest part of building a custom home is the design phase. It takes multiple professionals and a ton of work to bring your vision for your dream home to life while sticking to a homebuilding budget and also ensuring everything is built to code. Expect the design phase for a custom home build to take six months to a year.

Construction typically takes 3-6 months, including site preparation and assembly.

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.
