"The patio looked good when they finished but upon further inspection, the grooves are holding water which will break down the concrete eventually. The guy who gave us the quote said that the deck debris from the rotted deck, that we were in the middle of deconstructing, would be removed and they would give us a step up into the house from the patio. The guy that showed up the morning they started wanted to charge us $1000 more to get the debris removed and did not give us a step. We had to opt not to pay the extra for the dumpster because could get one cheaper. They guy claimed there was only 3” from the patio to the doorway except upon measuring, it is actually a 6” step down from the doorway to the patio now. On top of that the guy brought an all Spanish speaking crew and left them all day without supervision. We could not communicate with them and they brought alcohol and were drinking on the job."

"I posted this review and received a derogatory response from the company. I am reposting it with the information to validate that I was a customer of this company in October of 2014. I also provided photos in my original post of the things that I mentioned in the review. Flavio Pinheiro would never show up when he promised. The job kept getting delayed. All throughout this experience, he kept taking jobs out of state, and also claiming illnesses, to the detriment of my job. I travel for work, and can't be on top of these projects 24/7. They never finished the job, they did the mow strip incorrectly, and they left trash, chunks of concrete, and lawn damage behind. I finally had to have someone else come and finish it, costing me an additional $1500. They used some of my landscape trim to form the borders for the concrete pour, instead of creating themfrom their own supplies, promising that it would be easy to clean up. It wasn't, and the trim was no longer usable. He hired a Customer Service person, but that panned out to be worthless. I would not recommend this con artist to do anything in my yard ever again. As to the comment left from the company on my original review, I did indeed have a contract with Maxima Concrete, when Flavio Pinheiro was the owner. It may have changed hands since then, but the truth still stands for what I had to go through in October of 2014. I have attached a copy of the contract I had (with personal information blocked out) to prove it. The date of service for this contract was not accurate as posted, but this site does not allow for changes to that field. The site takes the date of the review as the date of the work done."

"This is a large complex driveway and it turned out incredible. Jasper and his team were great. We had an issue with the existing asphalt driveway that was not properly graded before being installed. A drain needed to be added in front of the garage to handle the drainage issue. Over the years landscaping including hardscape was added around the asphalt driveway. Jasper was able to eliminate the need for the drain by properly sloping the driveway to keep water away from the garage and house while also insuring that the existing hardscape and landscape still looked good. Jasper spent time thinking not only about the functionality but also the aesthetics of the overall appearance and the results speak for themselves."

This was our most ambitious project yet, as we wanted to maximize the existing space to create an entirely new master bathroom and walk-in closet. From start to finish, the entire process was incredibly professional and stress free. Bill was especially dedicated in finding creative solutions to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted for our home. His attention to detail was one of the many impressive things about his work ethic. Not only did he deliver a stunning master bathroom, but he also successfully relocated our laundry room from the basement up to the second floor. He even managed to install new windows in our family room that had previously been windowless! On top of that, Dave has gone above and beyond by building out a beautiful mud room and redesigning our fireplace with a brand new mantel. He also put up an entirely new front porch with a roof - it’s become such an inviting entrance into our home now! Above all else, I have been thoroughly impressed by Bill and Dave's commitment to punctuality and neatness when it comes to their work site. Despite working on large projects like this one, they always take care in making sure everything is clean before leaving for the day - something that I definitely appreciate!
