The porch, sidewalk and driveway look marvelous and they made it look nice in the end. There were some issues though, but every problem that we brought up to them they were responsive to. This job should have taken about a week and a half to complete, but it took them about 3 weeks to do. Where we had moved the sidewalk to make it more rounded, we increased the size of one of the planting beds. Instead of using all that nice filter that they dug up, they used grass and waste material to fill that bed. There was also an electrical wire running to a light post that served 2 purposed; it is a light detector and there was a 3 prong outlet that the workers used that for their equipment. When the sidewalk was finished there was no electricity to the post. They knew electricity was running form it at one point, but when it stopped they then just used the outlet from the back yard outlet without letting us know ahead of time. They just left it and did not tell us as the customer. The company did have to send someone out to take care of the problem. Who they sent out was terrific might I add. He made a minimal disruption of the sidewalk and he found the breach in the line so that we were able to use the sidewalk the whole time. Two guys were working on the project, which is why I feel it took longer to complete. This company also uses black sand instead of brown sand during the repair. So I had to call them back to fix that. I want to mention that they already used brown sand on the whole project. but instead of using brown sand to match, it should have been clear to the guy making the repair that he should have used the brown sand to match. The final outcome was great and everything looked so nice. This company was very responsive to every situation by phone call and email, but the project took too long and we had to call them back a couple of times. I felt as though this company took every complaint to heart and wanted to make sure this didn't happen to any other customer and was a teaching moment for his employees.

We haven't had the work done yet due to the weather. I am a little disappointed as I thought I could see samples of the stones. He sent us to two different retail stores that he thought would have those stones but neither did. We drove over 100 miles to see them. I was surprised he didn't know the dealers.  Other than that, he's been very nice, responsive, and friendly.

From start to finish, the project went great. The workmanship was fantastic and JP Companies delivered 100% on what we agreed on. I fully recommend this company to anyone that needs concrete or masonry work done. JP Companies is MUST HIRE!!!!

This is an excellent company to work with.  They arrived on time and worked very well as a team.  The leadership of Paulo was excellent.  He listened to what we needed and delivered everything that we asked.  The job site when they were finished was neat and the finished patio is very well done.

They were scheduled to come out when there were 6-8 inches of snow. We got in contact with them and asked them to reschedule. I was under the impression that they were going to call me back and reschedule, but I didn't hear from them. I didn't feel like they were pro-active after the snow melted or that they wanted the business.

We are so pleased with the driveway that Mottern Masonry just completed for us! We are repeat customers; Mottern installed an amazingly beautiful natural stone patio for us last Spring. As an architect I can really appreciate LUKE WORKS, Inc attention to detail and knowledge of their craft. Mark, the owner, feeds of your enthusiasm for the project and this energy carries through the entirety of the project. The price when all is said and done comes in comparable to granite and marble but you get a completely custom product, not the same countertops in your neighbors house, you have a one of a kind product that you can cater to your personal functional requirements. They will make accommodations for you, find a way to work with you on your project and deliver an excellent product. The only recommendation I have is to give them the time required to deliver that product because when it arrives you will be more than satisfied and it will be worth the wait. With custom furniture, concrete countertops, etc. it takes a minimum of 6-8 weeks.

Mike and his crew were highly professional in their repair of a wall that looked as if it was in danger of collapsing at any time.  Not only that, but they went out of their way to satisfy a particular concern of mine about debris inadvertently falling into, and clogging, a storm drain at the base of the wall.  They insured that didn't happen!  They were pleasant, polite, efficient and delivered a wall that looks solid for years to come.

Alex and his team are great. He has someone for everything and the work is top notch without being over priced. It's been a pleasure working with him and his team over the last 8 months on multiple projects in 2 homes. We put our last home up for sale and needed very last minute work to sell and without hesitation he knew exactly what to do and delivered in 3 days notice. I can't speak highly enough and looking forward to working with him again soon.

It was one of my best experiences with any contractors I have used in the past. The owner Rui, the project manager Rui as well as the crew were knowledgeable, friendly and delivered a top quality project. The project manager, Rui provided helpful information and suggestion in the design phase, and supervised the crew to execute the job beautifully. Their pricing was very reasonable as well. I would use them again and highly recommend this company for anyone who needs masonry work done.

Hector, his brother Jose, and the entire crew were professional, friendly, and their prices were very reasonable. (I've learned over time that these are extremely rare traits for many businesses) The work that they did looks excellent, they offered creative solutions to some of the project's challenges, and they went above and beyond to deliver. I'd highly recommend them!

John Himchak responded to my request personally and promptly. Prior to the work, he provided a written estimate and asked that payment be made once the project was complete and I was satisfied with the results. He also provided references. They were very professional, timing, and responsive to our needs. They worked with us on our budget to get what we needed in a way we could afford it. The crew arrived when expected, cleaned the job site up when done and delivered quality work. In the end we have wonderful new concrete work and entrance way that we can be proud of.

Arlindo showed up at 8:00 AM took out the old driveway in one day, had a dumpster delivered all the existing concrete was hauled away. The next day he came again at 8:00 AM poured the new driveway ... These guys know their stuff within two days the driveway was perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend D& A Concrete they are Professional Polite Punctual and extremely easy to work with. 5 STARS !!!!

They graded the ground, installed the appropriate surface materials, and placed the pavers. During the paver installation, they dug and poured the foundation for the pergola. When the pavers were in place, they filled the spaces between each with a special sand material which will not wash out. The pergola was a manufactured product that just had to be assembled. Except for a few short delays waiting for materials to be delivered to LDC, all the processes went without a hitch, We highly recommend this company.
