This is a large complex driveway and it turned out incredible. Jasper and his team were great. We had an issue with the existing asphalt driveway that was not properly graded before being installed. A drain needed to be added in front of the garage to handle the drainage issue. Over the years landscaping including hardscape was added around the asphalt driveway. Jasper was able to eliminate the need for the drain by properly sloping the driveway to keep water away from the garage and house while also insuring that the existing hardscape and landscape still looked good. Jasper spent time thinking not only about the functionality but also the aesthetics of the overall appearance and the results speak for themselves.

We bought an older home (1900s) with a very challenging backyard that included a jigsaw of cement touching everything, including the house, fence, etc. We had a few different companies come out for a quote, and we were immediately sold when we met Jasper Few. He is friendly, patient, honest, and his professionalism is second to none. He took the time to answer our questions and he managed our expectations well! He assembled a plan that made sense and it really felt like we were on the same team with the same goals in mind. We were very happy with his team as well and it was obvious that he had assembled a group of very knowledgable, experienced, and professional people that also wanted to see the project succeed. We could not be happier with the result!

The job went excellent start to finish. Although we had some rain delays the team was exceptional on their punctuality cleanliness and professionalism. We had waited 5 years to do this project due to the costs involved and got multiple bids. The only company to offer a solution with virtually no slope to our drive to allow proper rain run-off was Dan Few concrete. They got approval from our township the lower the apron and street curb which will help solve our erosion problem. Very pleased with the level of craftsmanship and commitment to every last detail including clean up once the project was completed. We'll worth the money to get a top notch crew and a job well done. Crew was also respectful and courteous with interactions.

Above all, Dan is a craftsman, not just a contractor, which is a rarity these days. He personally, as company owner, provided the in-person evaluation and estimate of the project. Dan arrived for the estimate on a Saturday, as scheduled (he works with his crew during the week) and was very thorough in his assessment of our project. He explained everything he would do, made suggestions to reduce costs and simplify the job, and sent his quote within a reasonable time frame. We were under a time crunch, and Dan understood and worked with us. He and his delightful crew arrived at the scheduled time on a Monday morning and worked throughout the day. Within four hot, humid, hard-working days, they delivered a masterpiece. Every member of the crew was thoughtful, fun, and respectful, and a true pleasure to deal with. Dan is a task master with his crew, directing every aspect of the work, teaching each person how to improve their craft and the product. Not one detail was forgotten or ignored. Dan was the first to arrive each day, and guided each step of the project. The final outcome was a work of art. Dan and his men went beyond our expectations, providing finishing touches that we didn't even expect.. The project has just finished and our neighbors are already coming by to rave about the results. I can't imagine a better outcome than what we received from Dan's company. I rarely recommend a product or a company, but I have no hesitation in recommending Dan Few's Concrete Company to friends and family.

Great. Price was fair. Good explanation of potential issues. Showed up as scheduled. Work done way faster than expected (1.5 days to tear out, form up and pour new).

We had one of the best experiences we've ever had with a contractor with Dan Few and his company. Our hollow concrete front porch had sunk near the house's foundation and we were having to take a giant step up to our front door. We had two other estimates, one with a company that concluded it couldn't be raised up by their standard of best practice, and one that was going to cost more than we wanted to pay for just raising up a not very attractive porch. We contacted Dan Few and he came over to talk it over with us. He is very knowledgeable, with years of experience and a great crew. We waited a few weeks while they finished up other projects and then they got started on June 1st or 2nd (can't remember). We wanted to "do it right" and Dan knew how to make the new porch so it would hold up over years, with a foundation and concrete block base. I wanted a "reveal" like I'd seen on other porches, and it all turned out great. I wanted a longer curved sidewalk from the porch to the driveway, and the end product looked exactly like I would have chosen to design it. The original sidewalk ended close to the garage doors, but this one has a wide edge that will actually be practical when we step out of our cars and looks beautiful. We also chose to replace our asphalt driveway (over 30 years old) with a concrete one. Dan pointed out that our house foundation needed more dirt surrouonding it to protect it, and moved dirt from the excavation of the porch to the front, side and part of the back of our foundation, arranging and smoothing it into position. They were great about cleaning up the construction area after completing the work on June 4, and came back in about 10 days to reset the post that supports the porch roof. They even offered to reset the decorative trim for us. Dan gave us direction on how to care for the concrete and will provide sealant and power washing for it soon. It looks great, and we are very satisfied and relieved to have our problem porch replaced with such a beautiful one. I wish we had more concrete projects we could do with this company, we had such a good experience. Dan and his crew had excellent communication, patience with questions and explanations and were very friendly. Dan was great about responding to our questions via text or phone, responding in a day or two at the most. They came when they said they would, completed the work in a timely fashion and returned to finish details when they said they would. One of the best experiences we've ever had with a contractor. They were friendly, knowledgeable, had good advice, were patient with questions, committed to doing it right and letting the homeowner know how it should be done. They've been in the field for a long time and take pride in the finished product. We recommend them highly and appreciate our good fortune in having them do the work for us.

Awesome! We got this done a couple years ago from Dan and the driveway still looks amazing. He and his workers were so impressive - starting early and ending late, not leaving a mess, and getting everything done timely and beautifully. We had tons of questions and he answered them all patiently and happily. We've recommended him to friends since our positive experience and they have all been happy.

Dan and his crew did an outstanding job. The driveway runs next to the house for part of its length, which made slopes and drainage a critical issue. Dan worked with me to verify that all the drainage requirements were met before each pour. The driveway curves between two 100 year old trees and Dan took great care not to damage the trees. We have had numerous comments from friends and neighbors on what an elegant curve the new driveway has. The finish on the concrete was excellent and the crew left the jobsite neat, backfilled and graded. Dan and his crew started the job on a Monday and stayed on our driveway until it was completed on Thursday night. Dan stayed true to his quote with no hidden charges. The best part is that Dan was here directing his crew every day. Best experience I have had with a contractor in a long time.

Excellent. I'm (Steve) a former construction project engineer with experience in concrete and approached this with a very critical eye and plenty of questions. Dan and his crew satisfied all my Qs and did excellent work. He also suggested a nice curving alignment to replace our front walk which is a great improvement, and he brought in 6CY of topsoil at cost and spread it in the front yard to bring the yard, which had settled a great deal over the years, up to the level of the new driveway. The new concrete and topsoil have made a great improvement in the curb appeal of our house.

They responded quickly and gave an estimate. Their cost was higher than others, so we didn’t hire them.

Dan is a joy to work with and I love his 'old fashioned' way of doing business. Dan is certainly a straight shooter and a gentleman. He really cares how the job is done and how his crew performs and was on site the entire time, supervising and directing. He takes care to ensure that the existing landscape is preserved and protected during the job. Not the cheapest, but A GREAT VALUE. I have had several compliments on the job that he did. Don't hesitate to hire.

Dan was one of three contractors I got quotes from. All three were very experienced and rated highly on Angie's List. Dan was probably the most experienced and he was very thorough when he stopped by my house to look at what I needed. He pointed out things that I would have never thought of. I would have felt confident with any of the three doing my work. It was a very very difficult decision since they all came within a couple hundred dollars for the estimates. All three were very highly rated on Angie's List.

Contractor called me and said they did not do this kind of work.

Dan talked with my husband and they were able to design a different approach that was wider, and had an extra step so the steps were not as high. They did a wonderful job. It really has improved the appearance of the front of the house.

Dan pointed out the issues prior to doing the work and we scheduled a time later in the year. Dan kept in touch so we knew when the weather was cooperative and he completed the work. His crew was great and there were so many neighbors stopping to ask for his card. Great company and so dependable.

My asphalt driveway was falling apart after 10 years - many cracks and iron stains. I wanted to change to concrete for easier maintenance and durability. I sought a number of bids. Not only did Dan Few come in under everybody else by hundreds of dollars, his work was prompt, professional and worry-free, with minimal disruption to my daily activities. The only downside was that it took a few weeks to schedule the project, because he is so busy. Plus, it was also nice dealing directly with the owner of the company at every step of the project. I believe Dan is sincere when he says he treats every project as if it were his own property. He sure treated mine that way. The driveway looks great, and I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family.

Dan and his crew were very professional. They were always punctual, and as the work progressed, we were so very pleased. Excellent. He Pulled all the required city permits and completed the job in 3 days. He Didn't ask for a downpayment but after I watched how efficiently he and his crew excavated and removed all of the concrete I paid him half of what I owed because he gained my TRUST! "Attention to detail" is what I want when I hire a contractor and Dan Few understands this concept. He runs a professional operation! If every home improvement contractor operated like Dan Few we would all be better off.
