Prices always seem reasonable. Very trustworthy employees. Quality work. Would definitely use Charlie's company again. The cost was a ballpark. I used his services multiple times.

I had an EXCELLENT experience with Troyer Home Maintenance. Charlie
Troyer was out quickly to offer a very reasonable estimate for two retaining
walls w/ paver stones, and lots of soil removal. We scheduled the work and his
crew knocked it right out, they showed up everyday, did their work well and
cleaned up after each day. They care about their work too. In addition to the
walls he scraped the front yard and graded it properly for new sod and replaced
a small stone decorative wall we never really discussed. He listened to what I
wanted, he did what I wanted and when I didn’t know what I wanted he filled in
the gaps with professional quality. I was worried about time and weather but
Charlie pulled through for me. In fact, I was so pleased with his work I had
him give me a quote to re-grade and replace a backyard brick patio I just dug up.
I was going to do it but his price was too good. Same as before, he pounded it
out and the results are beyond my expectations. Charlie is also a nice guy. 10 outta 10! What more could you ask for in a
contractor? I am disappointed only in that I cant get him for work at my wife’s
house in Cincinnati.

While repairing the brick wall was our primary need there were other projects that became apparent. The wall ended at several concrete steps and we had asked each contractor if he could replace them. Charlie was the only one who said and quot;no problemand quot;. When I noted that our asphalt driveway needed coating, Charlie volunteered to tackle the job himself--all 100 feet of it plus a turnaround and an entrance to the rear of the house. His quote was far less than the going rate. Only then did I realize that I had hired a jack-of-all trades and master of ALL.
I am certain that I will be calling on Charlie Troyer to take on some unforeseen project in the future.

It couldn't have gone any better. Charlie and his crew were fantastic. It started with my initial phone call. He agreed to meet me at my house at 6:30 AM to review the job. This was unbelievable as we live at least 45 minutes away from where he's located. It was great though because I was still able to get to work on time so he definitely made it easy on me. Any question I would call him about regarding the wall he was prompt in his response. He emailed me sketches, his certificate of liability insurance and even info on the type of block we were going to use. When I called him to say that the blocks were hard to distinguish in the photo he showed up the next morning with samples which made the decision easier for my wife and I. The job took about a week but he did extra things that weren't even included in the quote. For instance, he put in a drain pipe to keep water flowing away from the wall. It's completely out of sight which is great. Along the way his was available for questions and suggestions. The price was exactly what he quoted, higher than some but worth the couple of extra bucks. The wall looks exactly as he sketched it. He was a true joy to work with. In another classy move, at the completion of the job I referred him to a friend at work. A few weeks later I received a great thank you note and a gift certificate for $25 to restraunts.com. This blew my mind as some people barely say thanks these days. Long story short, the wall is fantastic, we've even added landscape lights, in hindsight, the price was reasonable and the service was second to none.
