Our yard was damaged because Crew used heavy equipment when ground was too wet.  They didn't seal the job until days later after several phone calls when no one showed up to do it when they said they would.  Was sealed with mud and dirt still on concrete.  Form for steps was left behind with nails sticking out.  When we called to request someone come remove it we were asked to do it ourselves.  The owner finally came and removed it after several requests made on our part.  After it was removed a rut was left in concrete that water pools in.  We initially complained of look of finished product and was told of things we could do to make it look better and also told that over time it would look better.  Less than a year later patio didn't look any nicer and was developing cracks and chips.  We contacted Owner immediately and was told once weather broke he would be out.  We never heard from him.  We made numerous phone calls and emails explaining our frustration with lack of communication.  Owner finally came out and repaired chips but told us if it didn't work he could do something else.  It didn't work.  We contacted him again to come back out.  He made several appointments but failed to show for any of them or call to let us know he wouldn't be keeping the.   He didn't respond to calls or emails until we threatened further action.  He then agreed to come out again but was very unprofessional and stated he really didn't have to do anything because of warranty.  We reminded him that we had made him aware of problems and our dissatisfaction from day one and felt that we should still be covered under warranty.  He agreed to come out again and failed to show or call.  We have filed a Better Business Bureau Complaint which he initially responded to stating we were out of warranty.  I provided emails showing where we had discussed that he knew of our problems from the beginning and where he had said he would come out and fix.  He is now not responding to the complaint. We have now filed a complaint with the Attorney General.
UPDATE:  I filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office.  Mr. Perry did respond to this complaint but absolutely lied through his teeth.  I was appalled by the fact that he stated we didn't contact him within the limited warranty period.  Also when addressing the damage done to our yard he completely denied any wrongdoing stating he left our yard in better shape then it was prior to work.  I provided before and after pics of yards as well as emails between Mr Perry and myself where he had agreed to repair issues and no showed.  Basically the Attorney Generals office can only act as a mediator. They suggested I take further legal action.  I however decided not to waste anymore time or money on Mr Perry.  I now have a beautiful new patio that was done by someone who took pride in their work and cared about his customers.

Jim came out the end of July and gave us an estimate and showed us how he proposed to do the job.  He said a crew would be out on Tuesday,  August 7th after lunch to start the project.  My husband stayed home waiting on the workers. Sometime after 4, my husband called Jim and left a message telling him not to bother coming as we hadn't received a call explaining the delay and if this was the way he did business, we didn't want it.  Approximately a half hour later, a crew came and started excavating the area.  We decided to go ahead and let them do the job as we wanted it done as soon as possible.
The next day the crew returned to finish the job.  They had to bring the concrete up by the wheel barrel load because they couldn't back the truck on our concrete drive.  The workers were rushing (rain clouds were collecting in the sky)  There were splashes of cement that were not cleaned up before the cement set up.  As they were putting on the finishing touches, the sky opened and the rain poured down for about 15 minutes causing pitting all over the new concrete.  The crew waited until the rain stopped and then proceeded to smooth over the cement again.  We are hoping this doesn't cause issues in the future.
Jim said he would be back in 3 weeks to power wash our old drive (due to the cement spills) and the new area and seal it'
On Friday, August 31, one of Jim's employees, Tyler, came out and power washed the drive. No one was home when he came. My husband pulled in as he was finishing the job. Tyler left several holes and pitted areas on our old concrete (it was 10yrs old, but even Jim commented on what good shape it was in when he gave us the estimate)  I emailed Jim with our complaint and he admitted that Tyler has used the wrong tip on the power washer that caused to much pressure and damaged our old drive. He apologized and offered us $150 and said he would extend the warranty from 1 to 2 years on the new drive
At this point, the only thing that would correct the problem was a new driveway, which we knew would never happen and we certainly wouldn't let him do if.   We never talked to him again.  We did receive a $200 check in the mail with no note.  We do have all the emails saved and will keep them until the 2 yr warranty expires.
We were disappointed in the over all job, but what's done is done. We couldn't recommend Jim and felt we needed to post our experience due to the fact we chose him because he had mostly A's on Angie's List and that is how we choose the people to do our projects.  We had a nice looking drive way in July and now we don't.

They did a great job, I recommended them to my neighbors and they ended up doing 3 jobs on my street.  Mr Perry is very nice to work with.  He is accountable and gave us good pricing.  He was always able to answer questions for us and offered great customer service.

No construction project is clean and smooth - but there really wasn't anything out of the ordinary on this job. There were a couple of glitches that Jim addressed on follow up. His customer service is stellar. The actual workers were a bit more sloppy that I would have expected - and I was left with some sanding/painting of a wood deck in my backyard due to concrete splashing that wasn't cleaned up before it set up. Generally, a good experience overall.

Company rep explained the process, showed us photographs of other jobs and we selected our choices. No problems with the workmen; when there were messes, they got cleaned up. The color we picked and what actually showed up on the concrete were not exactly the same, but close enough that we've lived with it.

After a phone conversation during which I indicated the services I needed, Jim Perry came to my home, measured and drew out the area I wanted to be replaced. He then contacted me and met with me to discuss the options for stamping patterns, colors of stain, and ways to handle a drainage concern I had as my property is downhill from a roadway. He had several very good suggestions, not all of which I was able to afford at the time. He was able to find a way to deal with the runoff and provide the asphalt driveway and stamped concrete patio I wanted. He then explained both processes, provided an approximate timeline and the estimate. Both projects were handled very professionally, in the timeframe he had promised and at the cost we had agreed upon. I could not be happier. I will use the company again to seal the driveway and to replace a walkway perhaps next spring. While his was not the cheapest estimate I got, it was fair and I felt Jim took the time to listen to my concerns and to respond to them. Money well spent.

After the first winter the drive started crumbling, Jim said it was r/t salt. I should not have used any salt. I never received a "driveway care" information sheet after the job was complete. The next summer he place a sealant on the driveway and said that would help. It continued to crumble. In 2009 I paid 1/2 price to him to have the driveway powerwashed and re-sealed with a heavier sealant. My driveway is still crumbling thru the summer. I had another contractor look at it and he suggested that water was added when it was beng poored. For the amount of money I spent and the driveway only being 4 years old I am VERY Disappoined!

The work turned out really well. I had the owner, Jim, come back out the following spring and do additional touch-up work, which was needed because of moisture problems. When the concrete was sealed, there was bubbling because of underlaying moisture. They had to cut the bubbles and then recoat it. He took care of the issue and everything looks great!

It went well. It was done in reasonable time as there were many rainy days between the time I called and the time it was completed. He called me when he was unable to come out to assure me that it was going to be done when the weather cleared. It was odd at the end because the person completing the repair lost our contact info for a few weeks which delayed invoicing. It was easily cleared up and Jim was very friendly about it. I feel uncertain about quality since this is the first concrete repair I have had and it was so recent it's hard for me to speak to quality. Overall it was a good experience.

It went very well. I sent my signed contract in at the end of one week, and Jim called me the following Monday to say that they would be there on Tuesday. Between 10:00 and 2:00, the old driveway was gone and a new asphalt driveway was in place. Two days later, Jim called to see what I thought of the driveway and to give me instructions for caring for the new driveway.

It went great. Another company kept putting me off so I called this company and his estimate was lower to do more work. He removed the old cement in one day. He came up with the idea for the trash can pad.

Went pretty well. This was a tough job b/c we have an old 1920's home w/ many layers of previous work and our driveway and garage have an interesting curve to them that made the job somewhat more challenging. This was also the company's first time doing acid staining, which was quite the experience! We had several mishaps throughout the job such as: the original design was not drawn to scale on the estimate so when it was actually done everything was off-center so we had to redo a portion of the driveway; the stamp pattern also went crooked on this same portion of the driveway due to the curve of the driveway and this had to be redone as well; they workers dumped their concrete mix leftovers all over our yard and ruined half of our yard b/c of this; then when everything was done we got 2 hairline cracks in the driveway that went the whole width of the driveway! I was not happy about this and Jim took the extra time to fill in the cracks appropriately. We also discovered at the end of the job that one of the footers for the support beams (that supports an overhang roof of the house) was put in off-center and so now our beam is crooked! And then the at the final step of the project, the sealer was put on too thick and it bubbled all over the place. Jim did come back and put on another thin layer of sealer to fix this. Jim also gave us top soil and grass seed to fix our yard. The acid staining was a lot of work but very worth it. For all of the ups and downs of this project Jim was very flexible and hardworking. He was always will to work with us to get things done appropriately. Jim also charged a very fair price for all the work that was done, esp the acid staining. We are satisfied for the most part and everything is under warranty (in case the cracks expand!) so that is nice. Good company, Jim is excellent to work with. Unfortunately we had several issues throughout the job but we got through it and it all turned out okay.

My husband pulled the company of the list. They came and gave an estimate. The prices were competitive. The owner was very personable and we liked him. I will definitely use them again.

The stamped concrete looks great. Jim had great suggestions during the project (e.g., filling in the gap where the steps pulled away from the patio) and power washed the short stone wall surrounding the patio without being asked. He called when the rain caused him to delay from the original start date.

Job went perfect. They did an excellent job!. We love our new driveway addition. One of the Mexican workers threw an aluminum can that he was finished drinking in the step molding before the concrete was poured, which we pulled out and threw in the trashcan.
