It seems impossible to say that an experience as disruptive as a kitchen and bathroom remodel could be "fantastic," but because Rick and Jeremy Kelley were in charge, it was. From start to finish, they took care of us along with the project. One example: even though we were enthusiastic about getting started, they thoughtfully used their construction calendar to "dodge" a major holiday so that we wouldn't be completely disrupted during a family time. Who does that? They do! Their expertise and advice were invaluable throughout the process. They listened and added our ideas to the design when it made sense, but know their business so well that they knew when to tell help us understand why ideas on websites are not always the best ones. We've had projects done at our house in the past, and nothing was as smooth and "perfect" as this experience. The kitchen and bathroom are *gorgeous,* and we couldn't be happier or more grateful!

Wonderful. Rick, Jeremy and all of their subcontractors were on time, friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Very easy to work with. I especially appreciated how much attention they paid to cleaning up at the end of each work day.

It went very well. There was only one specific delay, when the granite provider had an accident in their warehouse and the granite for our island had to be re-cut and finished.

Very professional and responsive throughout the entire process.  Quality of work was top notch and cost was very reasonable.  They turned a cramped, leaky shower and an outdated bathroom into a spacious shower area and a new look bathroom.  One example of attention to detail; they laid runners all the way to the master bath each morning and cleaned up really well every evening.

They turned a1960’s debacle into a modern success; the major eyesore of the house is now a highlight.  They are very professional and do top quality work at a very reasonable price. We really appreciated that they afforded us the opportunity to discuss all the options for every aspect at each step along the way.  They provided their expert opinion but allowed us to make final decisions and most importantly guided us so as not to make any major mistakes that would haunt us later on.

• After speaking with two other contractors and getting two
  estimates for my project, I chose Rick Kelley Builders for these primary
  reasons:     
• ? While putting together my proposal, Jeremy answered my questions and spoke WITH me, not down to me.
  ? I felt as though I would have a partner in the
  process ? someone to get excited about my project with me. I liked that the
  person helping me make design and material selections was the person in my home
  doing and overseeing the work rather than a store designer who talks with me
  for a few minutes.  
  ? My gut said go with them.

I love my new bathroom and laundry room! I have lovely porcelain
tiled floors in both and a step-over shower tiled to the ceiling instead of a
tub. I also have a new vanity with granite countertop, toilet, plumbing fixtures, mirror and towel racks. The best
design change of the bathroom was removing the swing-in door and installing a
pocket door. It changed the entire dynamic of the room and gave me more space to move in a
small area.

After thinking ahead about my future updates and
talking with them, I moved forward with two smaller projects. I used Rick
Kelley Builders for one project and used a company they recommended (after
getting estimates from three companies) for the other project. In the coming
year, I?m planning to use them for my kitchen remodel because I like the quality
of the work and the personal attention that is given to the project. I also
appreciate Rick?s willingness to share his knowledge so I can complete smaller
projects on my own.

It went very well. They were extremely professional and accommodating. They were punctual and treated us and our property with utmost respect and care. They managed their subcontractors well and always accompanied the subcontractors when in the house. They cleaned up immediately after every subcontractor and after their own work. The quality of the work was excellent. They provided consultation on all purchases and were very helpful in selecting things such as tile, granite and paint color. It was an exceptionally positive experience. I have had other contractors in the past and this experience was far superior.

As part of our bathroom remodel, Rick and Jeremy installed a
particular tub for us. While they were somewhat familiar with the brand they
had not installed one of these tubs yet. We were impressed with their attention
to detail and willingness to spend the time necessary to make certain that the
tub was ordered and installed properly. This required several phone
conversations with the manufacturer and careful oversight of the plumbers and
electricians working on the project. This is just one example of why we would
work with them again. We are very happy with our new bathroom and bedroom.

We decided to install cabinets, shelving and containers to organize the room and provide a place for items to be placed when coming into our house. Everything was painted a nice bright white using a durable paint. All of the woodwork was custom made by a highly skilled carpenter who was very inventive with the available area. The washer and drier were enclosed and the top covered with a granite countertop. We now have a place to put our shoes, coats and all the other stuff that ends up in that area.

All of the work proceeded on schedule and on budget.

We are extremely happy with the final product that Rick Kelley Builders designed and constructed. We continue to recommend their work to anyone looking to remodel their home.

From the very beginning, working with the owners Rick and Jeremy was a real pleasure. They were very professional and we felt very comfortable discussing the design options and the process of construction.
Prior to starting, the basement included masonry block walls and concrete slab floors. We decided to drywall all of the walls and create a separate storage area by adding new walls. An existing room was modified and opened up by demolishing two walls. We had carpet installed over half of the area and a very nice looking engineered hardwood floor over the other half.
The bar area turned out really nice and included a sink, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and a beer kegorator. The countertops were granite and the cabinets and woodwork was a rich dark color.
The HVAC system was modified based on the changes made in the basement layout.
We used variable-level can lighting throughout the basement with multiple switches for flexibility.
Rick and Jeremy discussed all the required work with us and made sure the modifications met or exceeded the building standards.
All of their subcontractors were highly qualified and were people they have worked with for many years.
All of the work proceeded on schedule and on budget, even with our requested changes during remodeling.
We could not be happier with the final product that Rick Kelley Builders designed and constructed. We continue to recommend their work to anyone looking to remodel their home. We are very happy with everything Rick & Jeremy did with our bathroom. They helped us design a bathroom which exceeded our dreams. Jeremy helped us choose everything they used in the bathroom, giving us suggestions and helping us make choices about what would work best for us.
Everyone we worked with was very professional and experienced. After demolotion started, they completed the project in record time since it was our only shower. They always were aware of keeping the disruption to a minimum - placed drop clothes where they came in and out, removed them every evening and cleaned up the area before they left. The next morning they did it all again.
We were very happy with all of the sub-contractors - electrician, plumber, tiler (he was extraordinary - very detailed oriented), drywallers, painters - everyone was professional and did a great job.Jeremy and Rick were on top of everything being done. One of them stopped in every day and they were in contact with all the subcontractors and called us if there would be any delays or schedule changes. Communication was fantastic. We had a small leak from the shower door and within a couple days, Jeremy had the door installers out to fix it.
We love our finished bathroom!

Project went well, though did take slightly longer than original estimates. Rick and Jeremy worked with us to control the overall cost, suggesting things that we could eliminate from our original plans and things that we should not eliminate.
