"My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough. 
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.

"Imperial was very professional and very prompt. We were under a time crunch as we had out of town guests coming in and the work needed to be done in a timely fashion. Not only was there sheet rock to replace but Imperial had to restore the original wall paper and repaint the ceiling so there would be no evidence of any type of damage. It is a dated 'retro' design and the paper had to be replastered in some parts because the wall paper was no longer available. So there were aesthetics's as well to consider when fixing the ceiling. Imperial did an amazing job. This is an old house and there was water damage behind the wall. Imperial was able to fix the ceiling and restore it to its original state without the extensive work of tearing out the wall. It was appreciated that the work we asked to be done was done well. The shower tile was picked to complement the original beige/tan tile and Imperial did such a nice job that the new tile looked like a nice accent to the original design. Imperial had two workers and took a couple of days because the plaster had to dry. It was an extensive amount of work. Imperial was always prompt, courteous and answered any and all questions regarding time line and what our end results would look like. I have had Imperial do work at our home before and based on the quality of the work and professionalism I hired Imperial to work on the bathroom. With guests coming, I knew I could count on Imperial's craftsmanship and appreciated them finishing up under such a tight deadline."

"1257 Rogers Ave. The 4 story commercial building next door is being demolished & removed already, first unattach it, next, demolish and remove the 3rd & 4th floors and unattach it very carefully! Remodel it into 2 stories and make this new house smaller just like the old house next door! And then remove those metal storm shutters to give us back the skylight windows in our bedrooms because we live in 1253 Rogers Ave. 2nd floor! Adrese Harris Thank you!"
