Jonas did a great job fixing a shower pan that had been installed incorrectly. He had to demo all the old tile and level the pan. He then resurfaced the base so that the water would drain properly. He sealed the pan and set the tile. The shower now drains properly and looks great!

"Alvin was careful to explain prior to starting work that if he required extra supplies, etc it would be on top of the Angie's price. Also, that there was the possibility that it would not be a simple replacement. I expected that. The replacement turned out to be more complicated than I'd anticipated.
The plumbing pipes for hose bibbs are installed between the vertical studs. There is supposed to be a horizontal cross brace that secures the "inside" part of the bibb  with 2 screws into the wood. Turns out, when the house was built in 1997, no cross bracing was added inside the wall, so the unsupported pipe had been shifting each time we turned the faucet on or off for the past 17 years. So, when he went to remove the outside portion, instead of "unthreading" as it should have,  the copper pipe broke off at the joint inside the wall. In order to complete the repair, Alvin needed to make an access port on the interior wall. He very carefully sawed an 8x8" piece out of the drywall, added a wood cross brace to the existing framing, secured the plumbing pipe to it, then attached the new hose bibb on the outside. After completing the repair, he carefully re-fitted the piece to the wall and used some caulk I had to cover the seam.
We were charged only for the difference in supplies, not for the additional time involved, which I was grateful for. I was also relieved that we had decided to have this done. I hate to think about some day going out to turn the hose on or off and have a fountain inside the wall.
I felt he handled the situation very well, explaining to me along the way what the problem was and how he would fix it.

Update:  We just discovered that when the plumber was working on the kitchen faucet, he dislodged the garbage disposal drain line.  For the past five days, food waste from the disposal has been accumulating under the sink.   Lovely mess to clean up.  Have changed the Quality rating to an "F" because he didn't check his work.

Plumber called when he was on the way. Arrived in a timely manner.  Very courteous and professional.  We had purchased an Angie's List deal - $158 for 1.5 hrs of plumbing labor.  He completed the repair of two toilets and adjustment of the kitchen sink faucet in one hour, so we have 1/2 hour left.  Was careful with items in the kitchen and bathroom.  Wore paper booties to protect our carpet.  Very good experience, would use them again.

Not sure why the address shows as Santa Fe, but the work was done here in ABQ.  Google shows they have an office just on the west side of I-25.

"My front loading Kenmore washer was leaking.  I noticed that the bellow had a large gash in it.  I called ABC Appliance Repair and asked them for an estimate to replace the bellow.   They called my back the same day and quoted me a price of $330.  I greed and they scheduled the repair for the next day.  On the day of the repair the technician, Ray, called to tell me he was running ahead of schedule and asked If he could come  early.  I was very eager to get the washer back in to service and delighted he was coming early.  Ray showed up and went right to work.  He quickly removed the old bellow installed the new one.   He patiently answered my questions and ran the washer through a cycle to make sure it was no longer leaking.  Problem fixed in less than a half hour.  When Ray was totaling the bill he informed me that I would get an additional 10% off the price because I used Angie's list.   Total price  $298.  Less than the quote- how often does that happen? 
So needless to say, I was very impressed with ABC Appliance Repair.  They gave me a competitive quote, scheduled the repair quickly, came when they said they would, fixed my washer and charged me less than they said they would.   What's not to like?
These guys did a great job. Both Deborah who answered the phone and got me the quote  and Ray who did the work did a outstanding job.  I recommend them without hesitation
