"This is a service that no one wants to need, but when you hear water running inside your walls this is the company that  can find the leak accurately. Steve and his partner came out and, using sensitive sound equipment and a special blend of tracer gases injected into the plumbing  system, located the leak under our slab rather than in the wall where we heard it. Steve was able to locate the leak within a foot of where it actually was, and we subsequently had the foundation jackhammered, a hole dug several feet under our foundation, and the leak repaired by a plumber. His system is highly accurate  and we recommend him highly.

Jonas did a great job fixing a shower pan that had been installed incorrectly. He had to demo all the old tile and level the pan. He then resurfaced the base so that the water would drain properly. He sealed the pan and set the tile. The shower now drains properly and looks great!

I highly recommend Jonas as he is an expert tradesman. If you have a job that needs to be done correctly, and that will last. Give Jonas a call.

"They complete the work in the cleanest possible way. They have been very honest and I have had no additional problem with everything they have repaired from my sprinklers, to installing a brand new sink, or replacing the hot water heater."

"Disposal was installed improperly (by my husband) who had the correct hose arrangement explained to him. All in all , it works and "ain't broke" so we are leaving it as is. Dishwasher is pretty ok with some tiny leaks. The dishwasher is so old there are no longer replacement parts. Refrigerator is "only" 12 years old and keeps on ticking. The icemaker has some idiosyncrasies but we like 'em so are leaving them as is. Norman is very knowledgeable and easy going. He answered my million questions, didn't criticize the disgusting mess under my fridge, gave me plenty of tips on how to increase the efficiency of the appliances I have.

I HIGHLY recommend ABC Appliance repair and will use them next time I have call to.

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly with non-abrasive cleaners, avoid pouring grease down the drain, and check for leaks under the sink.

Never pour used motor oil down the drain. Doing so can have serious environmental consequences, including contaminating groundwater, endangering animals, and killing vegetation. It can also clog your pipes, causing backups in your plumbing or the wastewater treatment plant. In most places, pouring motor oil down the drain is illegal, whether you do it in your home or a storm drain.

Pedestal sinks typically come with two pieces: the pedestal (also known as the base or pole) and the sink basin. You may hear it referred to as a standalone sink. The sink sits on top of the pedestal, which attaches to the floor and hides the plumbing. Both pieces usually come in porcelain or ceramic.

Pop-up drains come in various sizes, including 1.25", 1.5" and 1.625". Choose a drain the same size or smaller than the hole in your sink.

Hairline cracks—tiny cracks in the surface—in porcelain sinks can happen due to age, chemical damage from cleaning products, dropping heavy objects on the sink, thermal shock from drastic temperature changes, stress during repairs, and manufacturing errors. Hairline cracks often start very small and grow longer and wider over time. While they may appear problematic, hairline cracks don’t indicate structural problems and may not impact the performance of sinks. However, they can eventually cause water leaks and mold growth if left to grow.
