"Steve and Ray came to our house the next day after we contacted them to see what would be necessary to locate the leak. We told them we had already contacted two other companies to come out and they could not find our leak. Steve told us they would not stop until they located the leak. It was a quoted charge and although they had to come back three different times for several hours they did not increase the charge! "I have used Mr. Rooter several times over the past few years.  Once, I tried to do something to a pipe under a sink that I really shouldn't have messed with, and I ended up with a gushing leak from the pipe.  I ran around finding buckets and bowls to catch the water, towels to sop up all the water that ended up on the floor, and a phone book to find a plumber.  I randomly picked Mr. Rooter because it had a big add that said they took emergency calls.  I called, and was pretty upset, and a plumber was dispatched immediately.  He called me while on the way to my house to see if he could help me to turn off the water, but I was pretty useless.  He arrived quickly and stopped the gushing water quickly  and fixed the whole problem quickly.  I don't remember how much that cost, because I was just happy he came so fast.
I have also used Mr. Rooter to purchase a new water heater and thermostat.  The plumber was courteous, and as far as I can tell he did a good job, but there was some question about the accuracy of some information he provided about the water heater, which has been a problem.  I can't comment on how good the price was, because I didn't comparison shop.

"I work for a construction cost data company and deal with a lot of contractors in my work. I've also renovated 6 homes and have had a lot of contractor experience there as well. I can truly AC&R are simply the best contractors I have ever worked with. I can be a very hard customer to please and so I got 5 estimates on removing a package unit (AC/Heat) from my backyard and putting a new furnace in my crawl space. One guy who came to estimate the job said "Some jobs you walk away from. I'm running away from this job!" Seriously. I actually had Gabe and Dustin from AC&R to my house twice just to make sure they hadn't missed anything on the original quote. They were extremely professional, courteous and helpful in their suggestions. They weren't the cheapest estimate, but the weren't even close to the highest and they just seemed to be very honest so we hired them. They came back with an installation supervisor the day before the scheduled install and went over everything in detail. Then the best part came - our installers Tony and Benny spent three full days dismantling my old system and installing the new one. They too were very professional, neat, courteous and super nice to my dog. Two electricians also spent half a day here on the third day and all of them stuck around for the startup and testing. The Rheem furnace they installed is working great and is super quiet. I could not be happier. Do not hesitate for a second to call AC&R!"
