I've been very pleased with the quality of the results.  In each landscaping project, I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but Jerome Maldonado was excellent in creating a plan that came out beautifully.  The entire process was handled very professionally, from start to finish.  The workers arrived on the day promised, and in each case, the work was done quickly.  At the end of each day, they went out of their way to make sure the worksite was clean.  Changes to the project were discussed when warranted.  On the last day, I did a walk around with the workers and they made a number of last-minute "tweeks" to the project to make sure it was finished off to my satisfaction.  In all, I've used Alliance Landscaping for 4 separate projects, and will use them again.

The concrete pads that they installed are 4" thick with rebar, control joints, and expansion material along the edges at existing concrete. His estimate did not include taking out dirt found when he removed the driveway and found it was only 3 inches thick, not 4, or for wire reinforcement under the drive, which we wanted, and he added. Could not be happier with the work. He is somewhat of a perfectionist. He does seem to over schedule himself or be overly optimistic about the time he will show up. "There was some minor conflict over the scheduling of the appointment. The contractor was not pleased with the fact that I had some limitations in my schedule. When he called to make an appointment, he wanted to tell me when he would come without asking first whether I would be available on the date he had chosen. I was going to be out of town, so I told him that time wouldn't work. He said he'd already made up his schedule and he'd have to move everything around. That didn't seem like a problem to me, since I felt he should have asked me when I would be available before making his schedule. After that, the two men who came to do the work showed up when we agreed they should and did the work in a timely fashion. I was not entirely satisfied with the fact that I paid for eight hours of work and got only six to seven hours of work total. However, they did complete the repairs that we agreed they would do to my satisfaction. I said I wouldn't use this company again, but that's only because "Not Sure" wasn't an option. I was pleased with the work they did, but I would be more careful about the specifics of scheduling and the amount of time I paid for before beginning. I would also get more estimates of work from more companies, but I don't intend that to be a reflection on Power Construction. In fact, for future work, I would probably choose to get an estimate from them, too.
