"We started out with a budget just for the kitchen to repaint the kitchen cabinets, replace the flooring with porcelain tiles, redo the peninsula, use quartz for the counter tops, add recess lighting, and center the lighting fan. Into the job, based on Harvey's excellent advice, we decided to get new kitchen cabinets, have Harvey and his team build storage cabinets above the new cabinets instead of having a soffit built in that open space. We also had a pantry rebuilt by Harvey and his team as well. Lastly we had the peninsula changed to an island with cabinets added underneath as well. Also, we decided to redo the small (powder) bathroom on the main floor. Harvey and his team were awesome. He was very patient in allowing us to make changes to the original plans that turned out quite outstanding. His team always showed up early for work. The quality of the work was simply outstanding. Instead of half doing things like what we got with the Home Depot contractors in years prior, Harvey and his team took things back to the studs and made sure the things were built the right way. I now feel very confident about what is behind the walls and how the work was done. I will attached pictures of the kitchen and bathroom by next week. We are still putting things back into the new cabinets now and etc. We are extremely happy with the work Harvey and his team did. We intend to use them for a few other projects in the future. If you're really thinking about having work done on your home, I would highly recommend that you speak with Harvey to have his team come to do an amazing job for you as well. "Following several disappointing attempts to engage a contractor, even one we had used previously, to refresh a second bathroom, we found ETC Home Improvement on Angie's List. While we saw a host of reviews that were nothing short of wonderful, we remained tentative. That was until we contacted ETC's owner, Eddy. He spoke with us on a Saturday, met with us the following Tuesday evening. He reviewed and discussed the scope of the project and offered his insights and suggestions that ultimately made the outcome even more pleasing to us. We were sold on this professional, pleasant man. Eddy provided the proposal in a timely manner. We agreed to contract with Eddy and he and his crew started the project the following week. Both Eddy and his personnel were professional, friendly and considerate of our home life and our home throughout the work process. They prepped considerately and cleaned up at the conclusion of each work day. Three and a half days later, our bathroom was done as a result of the very professional and methodical work manner of Eddy & his crew. Almost forgot to mention that Eddy's pricing was very fair. We bought certain items for the project and Eddy provided others as part of the quoted price. There were no unpleasant surprises. It was such a great experience to work with Eddy & crew! We have several other home improvement projects coming up and, needless to say, Eddy will be doing them for us!"

"We purchased a 1950's ranch with 1950"s cabinets, floor plan and styling. After meeting with 5 separate contractors, it was evident that Arthur and his team were the ones for the job. They did not push us toward their ideas and suggestion for how to re-do the home, they listened to all that we wanted to do, they put together a proposal based on those requests, then we ironed out the details. To say that his team was excellent would be an understatement. From his painter to his electrician to his construction and demo team, they gutted the entire front of the home to the studs, were we then built a modern home with all the things it did not have before. Central Air, Gas, new insulation, stairs to the basement inside the home, kitchen with island, laundry center and a fully open floor plan for the living/dining space. They were on time, efficient and all of the delays we experienced were due to inspections and permits. Was truly a collaborative effort and when we do the extension on our home next year, will not even call anyone else. Had we not seen all 5 contractors, we would not have met Arthur and his team, and to them we are truly grateful."

This has included exterior trim replacement, replacing a box window with a French door and side light unit, and replacing a large unusually sized window. He also built a beautiful mahogony deck. Indoors, he installed a french door which included fine trim work. In addition, he hired excellent subcontractors to powerwash and paint our home and build a patio, porch and walks. We highly recommend Anthony's carpentry skill, as well as his problem solving, planning and coordination skills. He is also a dependable, honest person of fine character."
