"Harvey was friendly and knowledgeable. When he arrived he immediately knew what the issue was and how to fix it. He found a racoon up in the area where the squirrels were as well. He explained to me how he would repair the opening and prevent the squirrels from getting in other areas. In the process of gaining access to the roof to inspect the squirrel problem, Harvey advised that part of my roof was caving in. He even showed me a crack in the kitchen beneath that area of the roof that was a result of the cave in. He strongly advised that I replaced that section of the roof or risk a collapse, particularly with a winters worth of snow ahead of us. Although reluctant, Harvey made me feel confident that he knew what needed to be done. Due to the extreme cold and the holidays, Harvey kept an eye on the weather and planned to do the work on the one mild day, before a big snowstorm hit. As he advised, he finished the job in one day. His workers were polite and friendly and they cleaned up and carted away all their debris. He even patched the crack in my kitchen and painted it! He explained the work as it was going on and showed me a picture of the hole in the roof that had collapsed. I am very glad i trusted him. I wholeheartedly recommend Harvey and his workers. As someone who is used to unreliable and shady contractors, Harvey was a breath of fresh air. He is trustworthy and reliable, professional and competent and his prices were reasonable. Two thumbs up for sure!!"

"Eddie Costa and his ETC Home Improvement team are the only general contractors I will work with. I have used ETC many times over several years, and I am never disappointed. Eddie is my general contractor for several rentals and my home. He put a beautiful kitchen in a shore rental, does every aspect of the construction bringing in great plumbers and electricians, too. Eddie aligns his work and subcontractors so it goes fast. He brings in locally constructed kitchen cabinets that are beautiful. Eddie is just finishing a home office addition and master closet for me, and it turned out perfect. Finish carpentry by Carlos is amongst the best I have seen. I can’t say enough about how professional Ed is, and all the team he brings in. His prices are very reasonable for the quality you will get. For major projects, you will not have to hires anyone else, he has the best on his team. I recommend Eddie and ETC at the highest level."

"It was a pleasure working with Art and his team Doug and Marco. Art started my kitchen reno back in December 2021–of course we were still going through Covid related issues…we finished in April 2022 but I’m glad things weren’t rushed. It allowed us time to really look at things—and each little detail I bought to the team’s attention were addressed—down to the way the molding was cut or the way the cabinet doors closed were fixed. Our project went from a kitchen reno to an almost complete first floor reno including the stairs going to the second floor! Art was definitely on top of all our subcontractors, which was super helpful in getting things done and done to my standards. Art may be a little more expensive than other subcontractors but you get what you pay for, and you will get almost perfection from this team! I would definitely recommend for your next project and can’t wait for our next reno-the kids bathroom!"

"Sal amazed us. Hiring contractors is funny business. If you have an older home, you have probably had mixed experiences. Certainly everyone has heard, or experienced, a horror story. We've wanted to finish our attic and make an office for quite a while, and had a few false starts. I went to Angi's, quite honestly, out of desperation. Entered a description of work needed - didn't need to join - GREAT INTERFACE ANJI! Sal called me shortly after I posted, came over quickly, was great and understood our needs, so we hired him. Here's where the amazing things started happening. Sal shows up, on time and with the nicest crew. We can immediately tell we are in good hands. I talk to my wife, and we agree to ask Sal about several other issues around the house; rotting deck stairs, mold damage in the foyer from old leak, small plumbing headaches. Sal takes a look, says no problem, and gives us a good number. Now we not only have the attic space of my wife's dreams, but we can go into the holiday with ALL work done (understand we met Sal around Thanksgiving, and he did a lot of work.)
