"We started out with a budget just for the kitchen to repaint the kitchen cabinets, replace the flooring with porcelain tiles, redo the peninsula, use quartz for the counter tops, add recess lighting, and center the lighting fan. Into the job, based on Harvey's excellent advice, we decided to get new kitchen cabinets, have Harvey and his team build storage cabinets above the new cabinets instead of having a soffit built in that open space. We also had a pantry rebuilt by Harvey and his team as well. Lastly we had the peninsula changed to an island with cabinets added underneath as well. Also, we decided to redo the small (powder) bathroom on the main floor. Harvey and his team were awesome. He was very patient in allowing us to make changes to the original plans that turned out quite outstanding. His team always showed up early for work. The quality of the work was simply outstanding. Instead of half doing things like what we got with the Home Depot contractors in years prior, Harvey and his team took things back to the studs and made sure the things were built the right way. I now feel very confident about what is behind the walls and how the work was done. I will attached pictures of the kitchen and bathroom by next week. We are still putting things back into the new cabinets now and etc. We are extremely happy with the work Harvey and his team did. We intend to use them for a few other projects in the future. If you're really thinking about having work done on your home, I would highly recommend that you speak with Harvey to have his team come to do an amazing job for you as well. "It was a pleasure working with Art and his team Doug and Marco. Art started my kitchen reno back in December 2021–of course we were still going through Covid related issues…we finished in April 2022 but I’m glad things weren’t rushed. It allowed us time to really look at things—and each little detail I bought to the team’s attention were addressed—down to the way the molding was cut or the way the cabinet doors closed were fixed. Our project went from a kitchen reno to an almost complete first floor reno including the stairs going to the second floor! Art was definitely on top of all our subcontractors, which was super helpful in getting things done and done to my standards. Art may be a little more expensive than other subcontractors but you get what you pay for, and you will get almost perfection from this team! I would definitely recommend for your next project and can’t wait for our next reno-the kids bathroom!"
