Our project was a 14' x 14' screened porch. We selected Scott SCS from other contractors based on the interview, his knowledge, understanding of the project, and communication skills. He improved our original design and made numerous suggestions during the construction process. He understood our vision of the porch and he delivered. From start to finish Scott and his work crew were always on time, polite, professional, and cleaned up the area before departing every day. I was on site watching and taking photos. So I can attest to the craftmanship and attention to detail of the crew. Every day I was informed of their plans and then I provided my thoughts, ideas, and concerns. We are extremely pleased with the finish porch and I would highly recommend SCS. They are a 10 in every category.

Scott and his team did a terrific job. My deck looks infinitely better than it did and it is more structurally sound now than before. He replaced all the decking on the first floor deck, adding a new addition to the deck and completely renovated a screened-in porch. They removed a floating deck on the upstairs deck and resurfaced the underlying fiberglass deck adding new railings. Scott was present throughout the job with his team (3 people). With this job there were little changes that I wanted made and Scott and the team were extremely accommodating and receptive. They did solid work, were very professional and always left the worksite very clean every day. I highly recommend SCS Construction and would definitely use them again in the future.

I have used SCS several times over the past three years. Initially, they completely renovated my two bedroom condo in Cape May. Scott is an honest and talented craftsman. I oversaw the project from Pa so communication was also key. At the end of each day, Scott sent pictures of progress and was always available when I called. He made great design suggestions and I felt confident in the decisions we made together. When repairs were needed on the exterior of our building, I didn't hesitate in calling on SCS. Scott replaced the floor of our upper deck with fiberglass, making it maintenance free and replaced all of the railings on both the upper and lower floors. Just recently he resurfaced our exterior wood steps with a composite material, securing their safety and making them look beautiful at the same time. Scott is personable, very knowledgeable in his industry and has a very high customer service satisfaction. He is always a pleasure to work with and an asset to any homeowner. I purchased a two bedroom condo in Cape May in October 2015, It needed a complete renovation. New kitchen, bathroom, flooring, doors, etc. Living in Yardley, Pa I was not familiar with contractors in south Jersey. Scott was one of many I interviewed. He gave me a great estimate and a positive feeling about his work. I can't say how thrilled I am with the end result. Managing this project from two hours away was not a problem because of Scott. He stayed in constant contact with me, sending pictures of progress and making very useful suggestions. He's a professional and talented craftsman with a great crew. Thank you Scott and crew for making my piece of the Jersey shore something beautiful that I will enjoy for many years to come.

Scott arrived for estimating appointment on time.  He provided the estimate in a very timely manner.  Once the estimate was approved and scheduled, he arrived on time and remained on schedule for the entire project.  This was an off-season project at our shore house, so he provided daily updates by phone and provided detailed pictures and video of his work.  When we changed the scope of work slightly, he gave us an accurate estimate for the revisions.  Most importantly, his work was spectacular.  He's a craftsman.  He left the work area spotless.  And he was punctual throughout the project -- a rare experience these days.  I would highly recommend his services and will definitely be using him again when our next remodeling job arrives.

We had Scott back to replace the old brown door in our rooms and closets throughout the house. He came out promptly gave us a price and finished the job within weeks of our initial conversation. We are thrilled with the workmanship and service.

I drew up what I wanted on a piece of loose leaf paper and Scott ran from there. He came when he said he would (very rare in our town). He listened and suggested and a few days later got back to me with a terrific drawing and fair price. Over the next few weeks he built the built-ins at his shopping while sending me updates and photos regularly. Well within the promised timeline, we had our new look in our living room. We are thrilled with his work and his service! I would highly recommend Scott and his company.

All I have to say is these guys are awesome! If you are from the south jersey area you know how hard it is to find a good, reasonably priced, professional construction company. SCS is just that. Scott, the owner is a hard worker, dedicated, professional man. They had our project done in a timely manner, it turned out beautiful and the price was great. And, believe me, we talked to A LOT of contractors. Scott and his crew were a pleasure, they talked to my kids, pet my pups, and cleaned up everyday before they left.
