"Excellent! RB Landscaping was very professional in looking at all aspects of the job with quality and design at the forefront of their perspective. They listened to our requirements and improved upon them to our delight. We had 5 companies provide on-site consultations and received their estimates (down-selected from 10-12 we interviewed over the phone). We felt RB Landscaping thought of things that other companies did not and always had an eye for what was right structurally and aesthetically. The team foreman communicated well with us each day in a two-way conversation; the owner performed quality control checks often; and the workers were very polite and hard working. We got what we expected - quality, professionalism, and a wonderfully landscaped house at a fair price. We will be continuing to use RB Landscaping for future projects. We highly recommend them."

"The purchase process took several months as I took the opportunity to educate myself about the current technologies. Tri-City, via Synergy in Ballantyne, was extremely helpful and provided a no-pressure experience. I spoke to several vendors and received quotes from five. All of the quotes were higher than my final cost. The installation process was not painless as there were some issues with equipment failure. However, the vendor did their level best to minimize the impact upon me and made everything right without complaint."

"I highly recommend Brad We were in the process of selling our home and had to open repair and resurface our gunite pool that was 30 years old. He was able to drain the pool safely from all the debris, and repair any damage concrete, resurface and painted the pool. He also replaced the motor on the filter and re-piped all the pool lines. This was a huge job as the pool had not been opened in 4 years. He worked with our budget and was able to complete the entire job at a very reasonable cost ."

"Steve did a really good job. He took down our old deck and replaced it with a new one and expanded it by 3 feet. He also gave the best price compared to the other offers I got. I'd definitely recommend him."

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

Your pool should only lose around 1/4 of an inch of water per day, give or take. More wind, sunlight, and heat will cause this number to increase, while rainy or cloudy days will decrease the amount of water that evaporates.

Yes, some pool designs do not have coping. However, most designers will extend the decking beyond the water's edge to keep water inside the pool and lower potential pool repair costs in the future. A pool without coping may look more seamless but can raise the risk of slipping and make it trickier to get in and out of the pool.

The best temperature to paint a pool deck is between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit, because many paints and sealers require temperatures warm enough for the chemical reaction to take place for proper curing. The paint should not be allowed to freeze, and temperatures above 90 degrees can cause the paint to dry too quickly, also preventing the chemical reaction from following through to completion.

Pavers are a great decking option for pools. They’re customizable, come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, textures, materials, and price points, and they’re slip-resistant. Concrete pool decks, on the other hand, are harder to repair and replace if damaged and aren’t as slip-resistant as most paver materials. However, not all pavers are equal in terms of durability, maintenance, and performance. Pavers also have their own cons that may encourage homeowners to opt for stamped concrete instead, such as higher upfront costs.

The life expectancy of a stock tank pool depends on the level of maintenance that you put into it, but it typically lasts for 10 years or more with regular maintenance and repairs. Regularly testing the water and adjusting the chemical levels, using a chlorine float instead of tablets that can end up on the floor of the pool, lining the pool, cleaning the stock tank, and managing any rust immediately will help extend the life of the pool.
