"Although our project had it's challenges, the results were first rate. It is almost impossible to tell where the old building stopped and the new addition started. The crew of Mike, Nick, Dave, Josh and Andrew were fantastic. No problem was too great for them to overcome. If the time frame is important to you, you would be wise to discuss this with Chris before signing the contact. Our contract gave a completion date of November 24th, 2017. Some allowance must be given for one delay that occurred but the job was not completed until January 12th, 2018. It took far longer than we expected."

He and his son, Josh, are extremely talented, resourceful and get the job done at a reasonable cost. In June 2018 my wife and I purchased a house in Connestee Falls, Brevard, NC which was beautifully located but in need a great deal of work. After interviewing a number of contractors, we chose Rick because of his directness, obvious competence and easy manner. Rick started while we were still in NY and when we arrived in mid-August, he had neatly removed the fireplace. The project cost six figures and encountered many setbacks as removal of walls and floors exposed poor electrical work and many other preexisting deficiencies. However, in each case, Rick, Josh and his associates developed creative solutions and, as we went along, they helped us refine our vision of what we wanted so that the finished product far exceeded our initial expectations. With his fine carpentry expertise, Rick provided a new beamed ceiling and log mantle and wood work around the new living room fireplace which is itself the artistic focal point of the room. He also transformed an eye-sore half wall into a beautiful built-in cabinet which is integral to the new dining area. Rick and Josh work quietly and efficiently and are upfront about timelines and their availability. In fact, when the demands of a difficult new client caused them to fall behind the timeline they set, they worked on weekends to get current. "I needed a door built in and framed at the bottom of stairs leading to a separate apartment. After 4 months and multiple contractors committing to, then canceling, or not showing up, I found Joe Maguire. he showed up when he said he would, he was always timely, friendly and professional. And did an outstanding job! The built-in frame and door are seamless and look like they've always been a part of the apartment. His prices are extremely reasonable, and most importantly for me he showed up when he said he would, finish the job in a timely manner, and really did good work! "Working with Brent and Keith on our A-frame build was a great experience overall. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and clearly take a lot of pride in their work. The craftsmanship really shows—our home is not only beautiful, but also feels incredibly solid and built to last. The quality of materials and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. The only downside was that the project took a couple of months longer than originally predicted. That said, it was absolutely worth the wait. The end result speaks for itself, and we’d much rather have things done right than rushed. We’re extremely happy with our A-frame and grateful to Brent and Keith for bringing it to life."

I have been involved in construction for over 20 years. I worked for a remodeling contractor in California in 1999 and a laborer/estimator for a design-build firm in Baton Rouge where I received my Bachelor of Science, Construction Management at LSU in 2003. I worked for a trucking company where I was the estimator and project manager for civil and marine projects. In 2005, I received my general contractors license while living on the coast in Mississippi. This where I formed a remodeling company, New Coast Construction Co. My family and I moved to North Carolina in 2006 where I have since worked for grading and paving companies undertaking estimating and project management.
