He and his son, Josh, are extremely talented, resourceful and get the job done at a reasonable cost. In June 2018 my wife and I purchased a house in Connestee Falls, Brevard, NC which was beautifully located but in need a great deal of work. The project cost six figures and encountered many setbacks as removal of walls and floors exposed poor electrical work and many other preexisting deficiencies. However, in each case, Rick, Josh and his associates developed creative solutions and, as we went along, they helped us refine our vision of what we wanted so that the finished product far exceeded our initial expectations. With his fine carpentry expertise, Rick provided a new beamed ceiling and log mantle and wood work around the new living room fireplace which is itself the artistic focal point of the room. He also transformed an eye-sore half wall into a beautiful built-in cabinet which is integral to the new dining area. Rick and Josh work quietly and efficiently and are upfront about timelines and their availability. In fact, when the demands of a difficult new client caused them to fall behind the timeline they set, they worked on weekends to get current. The work was beautifully done, great attention to detail, great clean up after the completion of the project and an ever present concern for the safety of the crew. "I needed a door built in and framed at the bottom of stairs leading to a separate apartment. After 4 months and multiple contractors committing to, then canceling, or not showing up, I found Joe Maguire. he showed up when he said he would, he was always timely, friendly and professional. "Working with Brent and Keith on our A-frame build was a great experience overall. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and clearly take a lot of pride in their work. The craftsmanship really shows—our home is not only beautiful, but also feels incredibly solid and built to last. The quality of materials and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. The only downside was that the project took a couple of months longer than originally predicted. That said, it was absolutely worth the wait.
