"Since I only needed a very small piece for my project, I was referred directly to the fabrication shop for a remnant. Donnie was extremely helpful in showing me what they had and in working out a very reasonable price. On the day they were cutting my granite, he sent me pictures asking my opinion and approval on what part of the slab I was most interested in for my piece, and he put me on the calendar on the day I requested for installation. The day prior to installation, we had a snafu with the cabinet makers, and Donnie did everything in his power to remedy the situation. The installers showed up on time and called in advance to let me know they were on their way, and they put in extra time and effort on site to work around the cabinet issues we had discovered the day before. This is the second time we have used Queen City Kitchens (Imported Stone when we used them to resurface our kitchen counters 3 years ago). They are a top notch operation, and a special shout out to Donnie and his installers for their promptness and their ability to help fix a less than ideal situation. We will definitely use them again!"

"Originally used for commercial property to install 2 pedicure chairs and hand sink with vanity. Brian inspected underneath and was hesitant due to poor work of previous plumbers on the property with high overturn. He still accepted the job and worked diligently. Brian is very much the person to “get the job done.” Once he arrives on scene he doesn’t like to leave until the job is done and done PROPERLY. He let us know there was a rusted galvanized joint. The parts were back in Charlotte when the property was in Gastonia. Very next morning Brian picked up the material and diligently fixed the extra issues as well as finish the original job. Time line from accepting the job, pulling the permit, all material picked up/installed, passed inspection all in 8 days from start to finish. Highly recommend for all jobs and will make a point to use for all commercial and residential jobs in the future."

"The first visit they came out, located my Septic Tank and then had to dig two 30 inch deep holes to uncover the access lids.  Rodney and his assistant were very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and friendly.  I was extremely happy with the job they did.  My home was built in 1958 but I have only been in it for 3 years.  I do not have any idea how long ago the tank was last pumped but it was obviously quite some time ago.  The tank was almost overflowing and was very clogged.  It took quite a while to clean it out and then they snaked the pipe to make sure it wasn't clogged.  Prior to closing it up and filling in the holes I asked them about installing risers to prevent from having to dig so deep next time it needed to be pumped.  Rodney immediately called his boss and arranged to have the risers built and installed.  they covered the open holes with tarp to keep water and other things out of the holes.  They also did a rush job on the manufacture of the risers and even scheduled me on a Saturday in order to get the risers installed and the holes filled in.  Erin, the office manager kept me updated via email and phone calls to let me know how things were proceeding.  She called me the day before (Friday) the installation was to take place and notified me that Rodney had finished up early that day and if I was available they would come out and complete the job.  They came out Friday afternoon and finished up.  I am completely satisfied with the quality of their work and their professionalism.

"Very well, rep came in, introduced himself, reviewed the situation, wasted no time in cutting it out, told me to ask my upstairs neighbors not to run any water in their kitchen sink. He ran to Home Depot to get a piece of pipe and when he came back he replaced the pipe and was out the door in less than 1/2 hour."

"We didnt actual use Imperial Stone for a granite installation, but we did use them for a second opinion we were having regarding the difference of opinion we were having with our fabricator on the recommended maximum unsupported overhang for an installation off granite on an island. "Jim and his associate made two visits to my property.  The first included fixing a garbage disposal, turning on the water in the barn and providing an estimate to run new water lines to install a washing machine in the garage apartment.  This job included tying in the installed lines into my septic system.  We found Jim to be an honest man, evidenced by his candor demonstrated after conducting a simple reset and clear of the garbage disposal.  Since we just moved into the property, we are busy and did not know/research/diagnose the history of that disposal, and a man without integrity may have taken advantage of this opportunity to make a quick buck.  This is not the case with Gentile Plumbing.  He knows the value of providing fair, high quality service to his customers.  We concluded from this episode that he clearly is focused on building long term, mutually beneficial relationships, and that his business will continue to thrive and grow.  He understands that making a quick buck usually leads to losing customers when they inevitably discover that they were overcharged for unnecessary services. We appreciated this approach.  The second visit was to conduct the more complex and extensive retrofit for the washing machine.  Jim and his associate were on time, professional, courteous and respectful.  They completed the work in a timely and non-invasive manner (we had family visiting, and it did not throw off Gentile Plumbing in their focused manner in executing the job).    Jim also had to make a few adjustments as they proceeded with the job, but at no point did he try to re-cut the deal.  I would highly recommend Gentile Plumbing for anyone who needs plumbing services, as I am sure that they will receive professional work done at a reasonable price.  Well done!

Our water heater had been in the attic since the house was built, about 15 years.  We had started thinking it was time to replace it, before we had an incident that would require drywall and paint.  Scott, The Water Heater Experts owner, is GREAT!  He came out to assess our situation and advised me on the pros and cons of tankless water heating. We decided to replace our existing tank with a new one, rather than installing tankless. Scott pointed out the items in the attic that would need to be brought up to code and included that in the replacement estimate. The new heater is the same brand as our previous one (Rheem, 50 gal) with some new features that Scott took care to explain.  Scott and an assistant brought the new heater and removed the old one, which I thought would be a real trick to get it out of the attic but I honestly did not hear them remove it and didn't even know it was done.  They shut off the water, drained the tank and made the code adjustments and installation in about 2.5 hours. I was completely impressed by how they approached the project and cleaned up after themselves. Because water heaters are a once every 10-15 year purchase, companies like these rely on recommendations rather than repeat business (although Scott guarantees his installations and supports any problems.)  I can say I highly recommend Scott and the Water Heater Experts!
