"Tarheel encapsulated our crawlspace. They cleaned out the bulk of the debris and sprayed fungicide. They also managed to knock over a post jack. The second day they put a sump pump and replaced the old insulation They installed reinforced plastic sheeting, including over the base of the fallen post jack. The insulation began falling within a few hours of the crew leaving. They did send a second crew to fix this. Our older furnace depends on the under-house vents to breathe. These were all sealed up. The furnace pulled combustion air out of the house until I cut the vents open. In digging the sump well (at one of the highest points of the crawlspace) they cracked the sewer line, which let gravel fall in. Whenever the drains back up enough, the sump pump sends raw sewage out to the front yard. I am currently waiting for an estimate from the plumber to replace the broken sewer pipe and move the sump pump. I have called to discuss this and hope to eventually get a return call."

"This contractor completed the job correctly and within code. He is very easy to work with and performed the structural repairs to my satisfaction. Prior to hiring him, I thought the home I purchased which was abandoned for a number of years was irreparable and some would not take on the job. When I had him come and give me his recommendation. He told me it was repairable. At first I was skeptical, but once the job was completed, I basically have a new entire floor joist foundation over a crawl space and new entire outer perimeter joist as well. Here are some pics of the job at 50% prior to completion."
