"Good morning Mr. [Member Name Removed]. I most definitely understand your frustrations regarding utilizing a service company thats unresponsive sir, but unfortunately, in this case i believe you have the wrong service company. Upon looking your information up in our system/s Mr. [Member Name Removed], we were unable to find you in our Quickbooks, Calendar, Worksheets, Phone Logs, etc... Again, i completely understand your frustrations 'and i am sorry this happened to you', but it wasn't Mr Smokestack Chimney Service you contacted for your service sir. Happy holidays to you... "Good Morning [Member Name Removed] Thank you for your feedback. The office did point to the incorrect panel on one of the photos on your inspection report, which was immediately corrected and resent to over to you. The photos in your report are evidence of cracked refractory panels. The rule of thumb is if the crack is less than 1/8" then you don't have to worry; however, you do need to keep an eye on them. When we see a crack in your panels of any size we are going to let you know about it b/c cracks typically get bigger. That way when/ if you decide to replace your panels you have the quote. We are providing our recommendation, you as the homeowner choose whether you'd like to have a safe fireplace before operating or not. Our universal refractory panels do not fit your firebox, the quote provided was pricing we received from the dealer of your fireplace, along with labor cost. They are made specifically for your fireplace, so pricing will be a little higher than for the universal panels. You stated you saw the tech try to light the pilot and it would not relight. In order for us to get the pilot lit or to find out why it's not lighting is to perform a gas log tune-up. It's always up to the customer if they want the service or not; however, without performing a tune-up, he wouldn't be able to light your pilot. If you should need any further information please do not hesitate to contact our office. Thank you, and have a great day!"
"We can't thank you enough for your positive review and feedback, we truly appreciate it. You've been an amazing, loyal customer over the years and we are thrilled the repairs went well. We look forward servicing your fireplace for many years to come. Have a great day!"
