"Felt rushed to approve the work and pay the balance. Discovered multiple issues later. Just inside the door there's a rock they missed, so now it's under the plastic, which will sooner or later puncture through. I asked for a better door than the one the first installed, but the second was also poorly made and didn't come close to sealing. Called/talked to someone about the issues, but afterward they stopped returning my calls. They also left lots of debris on the ground. The inspection didn't pass for multiple reasons. Waiting for them to come back and address the issues the inspector found. Update: THBS did follow up and fix the issues. They constructed a new crawlspace door that seals, which was the biggest issue. They took out the problematic rock. The inspection passed."

The experience with the crew was great, Johnathan the supervisor communicated well and was punctual. I was quoted a week but Juan and Marcos were incredibly hard workers. The completed the job in three days. My spouse and I are very happy with the work, the air inside is better, less musty, and the AC feels cooler and less damp. Excited to see our next electric bill. "Wishing there were more stars to give to Newtonian's Renovation than the 5 offered! For their estimate for more attic insulation at our house they arrived on time and went into the attic and took photos to show my husband what we currently had and what their plan was to bring us up to the R49 level. My husband discussed with them his concerns about the baffles and the HVAC unit in the attic. This company listened and discussed w hubby what their plans were to fix any issues first so the extra insulation will do the job it is for which is to make the attic more energy efficient. When the workers came to do the job they cleaned up as they went along and let my husband know their progress and again took photos to show him what the end result looks like now. This is an upstanding company and they offer more services than just attic insulation! Happy we found them through Angi.com!!"

"Kevan & Drew at Drain Designs were fantastic! First let me say it was refreshing too actually, have someone respond and follow up to a call. I had called several companies/persons but none either responded back or showed up for their appointment. So, I was a pleasantly surprised when Kevan responded to my voicemail and showed up for the scheduled appointment. Water was leaking into my back room from underneath the deck and creating issues. Kevan came out and assessed the problem and devised a solution. Kevan & Drew showed up as assured. The process was explained every step of the way, so I had a very clear understanding of what was being done and why. Both Kevan & Drew were professional, and their work is quality work. I would definitely work with Drain Designs again and would have no issues recommending them to others. You won't be disappointed!"

"I contacted 3 different companies, and this is the only one that I recommend. Our salesman Kent Tysinger was wonderful. He was the only one that showed us pictures of our house underneath it. He even called me one night after his working houses to answer my question. He recommended what would work and he was correct. It took less than a week for the job to be started. Jonathan Stone & his crew came to the job site for one week. Each day Jonathan or one of his crew members would tell me what they were doing that day. When the day ended one of his crew members would come tell me that they were leaving and that they would be back the next day and they always arrived at the time that was stated. I had some concerns, and the GM manager came to my house and assisted with the issues. Also, when the job was completed, Jonathan went over all the pictures that he took of the complete job. All I can say is that this company better keep the employees that has assisted me with my job. We are so satisfied with the complete work."

"I had a flood for the first time in the crawlspace and basement. I called Regional Foundation & Crawlspace Repair to come out. They wanted 27K for crawlspace encapsulation, that was too much and I could do most the work myself. I instead paid them $5,000.00 to bury a geodrain and install a triple safe sump pump system. This is the job they did, they installed the sump pumps at the 3rd to lowest point in the crawlspace and this geodrain goes back and forth from uphill to downhill. The lowest point still allows water to flood downstairs. They also cracked a chunk of my foundation at the point of sump pumps egress. Outside they just threw rocks on ground were the water comes out and can get back into the ground to reenter the crawlspace. They got 1 star because the people were nice, their job was not. Update as of 4/23/2024 they contacted me and said they wanted to make sure everything was good. A Girl and guy came out and noticed a couple things I didn't and said they would fix it that their company does not do work like that. They dug up all the previous geodrain and moved it to walls, tried to level out the drain and changed the location of the pumps and the drain outside. She had a really good work ethic and never took a break. The guy was on the other side of house and think he did good too. Everything they did looked professional and looks like they fixed everything. They had to come back today to finish the work today, but had three of them. It all looks good and they tested everything. They apologized about the old work and were not sure went wrong, but I don't have a negative view of the company now and am satisfied with the work they did. Just nocking one star for the under trained individuals that came the first time, the second crew was great!"
