"CMC Electric immediately responded to our request for three ceiling fan installments. They offered to come out and give a quote and to complete the task immediately following if the quote was acceptable. We received a better rate than anticipated and the work was done perfectly. All three fans were different and required differences with installation. To operate with remotes and one is connected to double switches on the wall. The mounts are perfect and the fans operate wonderfully. DJ Whiter was the electrician who helped us. He was friendly, professional very neat in the work areas and communicated well to make sure that each installation was exactly what we desired. We are extremely pleased and will definitely use CMC Electric again. We highly recommend."

"After 3 weeks of living with no air conditioning, and a leaky ceiling, during which time I had 5 technicians (3 from one company that doesn't even have an option to leave a voicemail after 5pm!) attempt (and fail) to fix the problem, I finally had to get a new system. 



I sincerely hope you don't need to replace your AC system any time soon, but just in case you do, I highly recommend  Alpine Heating and Air.  Their telephone number is: 919-404-1717.  They went above and beyond customer service, and addressed my concerns, explained answers to my questions in detail re: energy efficiency, payment, warranty, etc., and did exactly what they said they would do re: installing on time.  I have a 10 year warranty for parts and labor and a lifetime warranty for the compressor.  If it breaks (the outside unit), they will replace the entire thing.



A week after my system was installed, the unimaginable happened, and my ceiling was leaking again!!!   I couldn't believe it!!!  I called them - this was on a Sunday evening at around 8:00pm - and they told me that they would send someone over right away, and they did.  I told them that this was unacceptable, and that I expected them to replace it w/a new system.  They assured me that they would do that if necessary. Fortunately, the issue wasn't the system, but the pipe in front of it, which the technician replaced.  I was still in shock that my brand new system had leaked, and I asked him to open the panel in front of the system to ensure that everything was OK.  He went back out to his truck and got his tools and it was fine.



The next morning, Alpine called me and apologized for what happened, and offered to have my ceiling fixed.  I was very surprised, and I told them that I wanted to give full disclosure, and that although it had leaked because of the pipe, I told them that I had previous damage from my other AC, but they said it was OK and that they wanted to make things right, so they sent someone to repair it (no charge to me). "

The work was not exceptionally technical, but his experience makes projects like this go much smoother than trying to do it yourself. There were wires that were not seated properly in the manufacturing of two of the three fans causing the fan and/or the light to not come on. He diagnosed those problems and fixed them on the spot. He always leaves the area clean when he is finished. Again job well done."

"Michael & Son Services (M&SS) stands behind their work and puts their customers first. Over the past several years, we've hired M&SS to: completely replace one of our two split furnace/AC systems; replace the AC system of our other split furnace/AC system; replace our main circuit breaker panel and install a whole-house surge protector; replace a toilet flush system; and install surge protectors on each of our two furnaces and AC systems. All of this work was completed in an excellent manner from the designs, to the choices of components, to installation and timely completion. Along the way, also M&SS installed a bathroom ceiling fan for us, but the fan unit did not have the power level we had asked for and needed. We did not discover the discrepancy until we were recently remodeling the bathroom - more than a year after M&SS completed the fan project. The day after I contacted M&SS, a senior staff member was at our house to inspect the situation. He then ordered the specific more-powerful fan unit that I told him we wanted, and promptly after receiving it, M&SS installed the fan including rerouting the vent conduit for more effective operation. No charge, no questions asked, and M&SS made everything right, with a cheerful attitude all the way."

They took accurate measurements of the new location for the interior ceiling fan before getting parts from the electrical supply store (A-frame ceiling with little clearance for blades). They returned in less than half an hour and installed everything exactly as I asked. The job turned out better than I hoped. Very satisfied. Steve recommended installing arc fault circuit breakers in the circuit panel box, a new code requirement for 2008. He suggested I research on the internet for more detailed info if I thought I might be interested. He also provided detailed info on a whole-house surge protector when I asked about it. Both Steve and Travis seemed very knowledgeable and thorough. They were both very friendly and professional. Also, I called this company on fairly short notice and was surprised they were able to send someone out so quickly. Seems they have a large enough staff to get the work done when you need it. They cut out out section on our ceiling and they replaced it. They then painted the ceiling and added the stippling ceiling touches. The job looked good when they finished and we were very pleased with the work."
