We had Roger and several other masonry contractors out in the spring to give bids on the above described work, and were surprised by how high all the quotes were, so we decided to hold off doing the work until later in the year. While Rogers Masonry was not the lowest of the bids, it was competitive. But what really made Roger stand out over the several months between bidding and hiring was his clear knowledge about, and genuine passion for, the work that he does (he's been in the business since 1976 and his lead crew member has been with him for 20 years!). "It went really well. Al and Corey are both fantastic to work with. I moved into a house where the yard was in rough shape. I talked to several different landscaping companies and decided on Goodfellows after the initial meeting. Al had such great suggestions for tweaking the design and thinking about the project, that I knew I would regret it if I chose someone else. The customer service is really good. Many contractors I have worked with are almost impossible to get answers from, but Al was always on top of everything I asked. The install team worked very hard and took great care when working close to the house to ensure nothing was damaged. "Tom and his team did a terrific job in our backyard. They replaced our aging patio and even found a way to make it bigger without harming the two large trees in our backyard. When we were looking to add a fence and gate at the bottom of our sloped backyard, they figured out a unique corner wall situation that looks like it had been part of the plan the whole time. Tom is a great communicator and kept us updated on a regular basis about what was happening with the project. We would gladly work with Sirek Landscaping again!"

"They tuck pointed and repaired brick steps. The price they charged was less than half of the other estimate we received. ( That is not an exaggeration.) The work was excellent and performed on a timely and efficient basis. They promptly returned calls and otherwise communicated with us on a timely basis. "Robert has consistently provided exceptional service.  I first hired him because he was the only one who quickly recognized the unique bricks needed for the repair I requested, and he did such an amazing job with the repair that we did not paint over his work (which makes this the only unpainted brickwork in our home's exterior).  I subsequently hired him to repair the exposed areas of our limestone foundation, which had decayed considerably over the decades.  Again, he did a great job.  After doing this, he suggested some maintenance to my exterior which I would not have even noticed.  I waited a year before having him do it, but now realize how much work needed to be done and appreciate his service.
I am fairly meticulous and reluctant to endorse somebody, but I would strongly recommend Robert for masonry work.  In addition to his exceptional service, he is a really good guy!
