"Had a tech named Tyler come out to inspect our furnace. Tyler was very polite and had thoroughly checked the furnace (pressure test, etc.) to see if the furnace could be repaired. Tyler's recommendation was to replace the furnace. Had us phone Brighton Appliance for a price. The only negative I could think of was that Tyler did not know how to provide us with a "temporary" solution for getting heat in the house as we had our furnace go down on the coldest day(s) thus far this year. In that Brighton Appliance could not come out in a timely fashion, we phone another HVAC company in the area that did come out, priced us on a new furnace but, provided a solution to gain heat to satisfy us, our dogs and the piping within by just keeping the "FAN" going and not use the automatic. We were comforted throughout the night with heat and the furnace went in the next morning with great satisfaction.

We agreed on a price for the initial trim carpentry, interior door installation and casing along with numerous areas that required correction from prior substandard workmanship. "CALL HIM - you'll hire him. Joe is a total pro and does excellent work! He communicates well, is dependable, sticks to his estimate, and goes the extra mile to do the job right. Truly a unique talent these days - an honest, nice guy who shows up and does great work - and can do anything! He and Mike are easy to have around our home and clean up each day. Our subfloor under carpet was insufficient for new hardwood floors. They removed huge amount of subfloor and also demo'd entry tile on cement board. Then installed a lot of new subfloor on multiple levels. He met with our hardwood installer to ensure everything was right and went above and beyond to tighten subfloor to joists so it's solid and squeak-free in an older house. The new hardwood was the perfect height after Joe's planning for subfloor height - he makes it look easy. They also shaved curly-ques from an old wrought iron railing, painted and replaced it; even finding a way to break the weld at the bottom to turn the feet to accommodate new flooring. Hand railing wasn't secured inside wall so he framed support and patched drywall. He's creative and capable, saving us a ton by modifying our existing railings to look newer and more on trend. I'm on his waiting list to have more done and he's worth the wait during his busy season!"

"It worked out just fine. I had no problems at all. They came when they were supposed to come. They had two guys. I think it took a little bit longer, we were hoping they could maybe squeeze in a few more things. But we had the two hours and they were actually there a little longer and didn't charge us any more. They were great. No complaints. I wasn't really happy with the way the ceiling job turned out, but it really wasn't their fault. We were basically putting a square fan in what used to be a round hole. So the ceiling needed to be patched, but they did what they were supposed to do. And they did best with what we had, because we had already bought the things for them to install. I would not hesitate to call them back to get another quote for something else. We had to go in and change the thing in the faucet. I wish he had told us when we were installing it, because it had this stop so the water would not get real hot, and it would have been nice for them to give us the opportunity to change that. We didn't know anything about it and then we had to go online and figure out how to change that. The water wasn't hot enough. I would have like them to give us the heads up on that. But other than that everything else was fine. The quality of the work was no problem."
