It was for the air conditioner. I got an air conditioner installed. I am completely satisfied with the air conditioner but the people that installed it, they did one good thing, but they did some bum things and when they finished up they didn't take me through what they did, and tell me about anything. And one of the problems I had is they had to take some folding doors off of the closet and they didn't put back right and they wouldn't fold, so I was really upset about that. And I was kinda embarressed, this is stupid, this is evil; when they left they were out in the driveway they just got up and left they didn't say anything to me and they were in their car and I wanted to give them each a tip enough for lunch and everything. So I went out there and handed them a couple of $20 bills there were 2 of them and thanked them and one of them broke into laughter and covered his mouth. And when I went back in and saw some of the things that I would have been concerned about I understood why. And I was kind of embarrassed of being so stupid about not checking things out before. At the end they should have taken through and showed me if I needed to do any kind of a follow up they didn't do that. And I should have filled out a form there is a form for your organization that I should have filled out. They didn't do that final walking me through and then they did the mess up on the doors and I see a couple places where I am gonna have to use some duck tape to cover up a couple of pipes that they cover with a rubber insulation and those are coming apart. So I was dissatisfied with that. My sons came out and fixed the closet doors and I know how to use duck tape so I'm gonna fix that with the pipe. And again it was just my ego because I was so stupid to get out there and give them a tip. And then I also failed to send in that comment to you because that would have informed the company and you as well. And I rely on your organization so withholding that was wrong on my part. They did one thing, the man that came out here initially to sell me the air conditioner looked at some of the installation and he talked about running a pipe below the ceiling where it would be showing and these people were able to do it without. And I haven't had any trouble with the operation.

This a case of a local shop being purchased by a big guy some10 yrs ago. As time goes on we feel less and less valued as a long time customer. We use them for many of our repair issues and are satisfied with their work. An example of DISSATISFACTION came recently when our year old water heater failed and was replaced under warranty. The initial cost was $1467.00. A year and a half later, we were hit with another $400.00 "labor charge" to replace it AND the warranty was not reset to new---with the new unit!! We have great faith in the integrity of several of our favorite service guys and request them when we call for service. But as we told our guy "Tim" yesterday, if he goes, we'll most likely be right behind him! That said---the office help is unfailingly polite and pleasant, they call to gauge our satisfaction with the visit and they seem sincere. Honestly, if we switch to someone new it could be better---BUT--it could be the same or worse! Maybe I'm dreaming to expect personal consideration regarding ALL the work and $$$ I've directed their way.

Had a tech named Tyler come out to inspect our furnace. Tyler was very polite and had thoroughly checked the furnace (pressure test, etc.) to see if the furnace could be repaired. Tyler's recommendation was to replace the furnace. Had us phone Brighton Appliance for a price. The only negative I could think of was that Tyler did not know how to provide us with a "temporary" solution for getting heat in the house as we had our furnace go down on the coldest day(s) thus far this year. In that Brighton Appliance could not come out in a timely fashion, we phone another HVAC company in the area that did come out, priced us on a new furnace but, provided a solution to gain heat to satisfy us, our dogs and the piping within by just keeping the "FAN" going and not use the automatic. We were comforted throughout the night with heat and the furnace went in the next morning with great satisfaction.

We have been using them for a number of years. They are a local business. Their parts availability is good. Their promptness in coming out for repairs is excellent. Their professionalism is good and their pricing is good. In terms of price, they are very fair. I would use this company again in the future.
