"I would like to let everyone know that Mike, Eric, and Brandon were very professional and experienced with foundation issues. Mike is the owner and was great to work with, I never met him but he was always available to talk to over the phone OR TEXT. Eric and Brandon were super nice and very experienced. Eric found the issue within minutes of overlooking my foundation where water was coming in. Brandon did the work that needed to be done and even though it took a while, he still finished the job with patience and cleaned up afterward. I like to note I got another quote from a different company (won't say who) which were DOUBLE! the price of PermDry. I recommended them to ALL my family members and super satisfied with the job done. No leaks happened from 5 major storms after the fix!"

"Great experience-start to finish. I cannot say enough good things about working with this company. Russell made sure I understand exactly what was happening with our foundation, exactly what him and his crew were going to do, and how much it would cost. Zero pressure to hire them - just an explanation of what was happening and how it could be fixed. Sometimes construction was delayed, we started much later than I had planned…and it took longer than expected - BUT I would hire them 100x over. There is no other company I would trust with my foundation. Period. His crew worked in the pouring rain, cleaned up at the end of the day - (meaning they swept the street in front of my house) and protected my grass during construction. I would challenge ANYone to come over and guess where they dug. (8ft+trench) The crew even preserved some trinkets for my girls when they dug in their fairy garden♥️. I’m so impressed with this company and though it was the most $$ I’ve spent ever on a home - I’m so so glad we hired them - and I am so grateful that we met him. Btw - he was there often to inspect the work and explain where they were in the process, what they had done, and why they’re doing it. I will recommend Precision to any/everyone who needs a service like this. ⭐️ ⭐️ ?⭐️⭐️"

"I had a great experience with BWM. They handled my concerns professionally and the price was very competitive but I feel like i got a better product than I could have purchased retail - the new sump is very robust and I have faith my basement will stay dry now."

"Contacted Rolland Cement based on a referral from another cement contractor who wasn't able to address our needs.  We scheduled a time and they came out and provided a written estimate, offered some ideas for the patio design and provided a very competitive price.  We decided to go with them based on the referral from the other cement contractor, internet reviews, Angie's list reviews and the competitive price.
We had to postpone the first start date due to rainy weather, but they came out promptly when the weather improved and completed nearly all the work on the first day.  They returned to power wash and seal the patio on day two. The crew was professional and friendly, they did a great job in laying out the patio design and in all the small details that make the stamped concrete look professionally finished.  They did a nice job in cleaning up the job site and working some of the excavated dirt back into the existing grade around the house. (This is new construction and the sod has not been installed as yet.)
We are very pleased with the finished product and would not hesitate to use Rolland Cement in the future.  Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional, their price was very competitive and the finished product was, in our opinion, first rate.

"Here doing the work less than 24 hours after I accepted their bid. National brand name water heater with company max warranty. Everything the installer needed was on his van. They accomplished all work they had described beyond my satisfaction, including shutoff valves that did not previously exist."

"Though more accomplished than expected, the workers surprised me with a failed result. They couldn't put the project back together correctly; everyone saw something was off. Outside the stall looked fine, but the tile they "replaced" was actually the original, just poorly handled. They left the last row unfinished after hitting a curve hard and breaking the tile apart. Instead of using a diamond saw for a clean $400 straight cut, they took a shortcut that ruined the piece. The tile broke jaggedly, so they tried to hide the damage by burying the break line under piles of caulk and extra material. Now, the fracture is "leaking" through the mess. Worse, they left a metal tool inside the assembly, blocking water flow. While the drain placement was okay, the plumbing is now a disaster. They tore up the floor unnecessarily when they could have just cut small plugs around the pipe, swapped the plastic, and used thinnest Because of their "gung-ho" attitude and lack of communication."

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Walkout basements cost more than other kinds of basements, and can also increase your risk of leaks as well as a loss of insulation, leading to higher heating and cooling costs. Improperly installed walkout basements may lead to structural issues with your foundation, so ensure you’re working with a contractor who has extensive experience with this kind of basement.

Heavy rain can affect a leach field because the extra rain can cause the groundwater level to rise. This leads the soil around the leach field to become saturated with rainwater, so it’s no longer able to take in effluent from the leach lines for final treatment. Heavy rainfall can cause the leach field to flood.

Submersible and pedestal sump pumps are two popular types of sump pumps. Submersible models are covered by water in a sump pit, which helps keep the motor cooler and quieter. Pedestal sump pumps stick out of the sump pit, so the motor stays dry and is easier to access. Submersible sump pumps are the pricier option, but they also have longer life spans.

Gravity can make it difficult to make plumbing work in a garage if your plumbing is lower than your drainage point. Fortunately, there are ways to create drainage when adding a bathroom to a sunken garage. Plumbers will recommend using an upflush system that discharges into a pump from the back of the toilet.

Standing water under your house can threaten its structural integrity. If water pools in your crawl space, it can damage the foundation and the structure above ground, causing wood rot, mold, and other problems. If you have a concrete foundation, standing water under your house can also make your foundation slabs crack.
