"We needed a wall built to divide a living room/dining room into
two separate rooms with a french door. Justin was prompt with an
estimate and the work was done on time. The wall was built, the french
doors installed and everything painted properly. There was an issue with
the placement of the doorknobs (due to the uneven floors in the house)
and Justin came by a few days later and corrected the problem. We were
very satisfied with the work and we are likely to use this contractor
again in the future.

"Mason was fantastic to work with. Very pleasant, patient, knowledgeable, clear and detailed oriented. The master bath remodel was finished ahead of time. The crew, (Giovanni & Abby) were was at the house daily and were nice folks who did a really good job with the full remodel of the old bathroom. Excellent communications, suggestions, planning and follow ups from Mason made the whole process stress-free. The cost is fair and in the midrange of the market. I would not hesitate to have Mason work on any other future project on the house and highly recommend his services."

"Kurt and his crew were very professional and pleasant throughout the entire project. When it came time to make a final choice on plants, Kurt met with us at a local nursery and guided us through the selection process. His knowledge of each plant?s growth habit and good/bad points was extremely helpful. The installation processes went very smoothly and we are thoroughly pleased with how the plants and lighting enhance the appearance of the house. We give Kurt our highest recommendation.

"We had an excellent experience working with RJ Construction. They renovated our existing deck, replacing some rotted support posts, demolishing and replacing the deck rail, and related work. They have been in business a long time. The owner provided good expert advice to guide our choice of products and materials when formulating the contract. The work crew was unobtrusive and highly skilled. They started and completed the work within the time promised. And they have been responsive to a couple of post-contract concerns. They provided a valuable combination experience, quality, responsiveness and service at a fair price and we highly recommend them."

"It was great! They were thorough and careful. I've never had my house professionally cleaned before, but I bought the sale coupon and I'm so glad I did. I don't know how she managed to make my stove shine -- I've tried and never been able to. I have two teenage boys... do I need to tell you what their bathroom was like? I have wood floors, which I've always vacuumed -- they used some sort of damp mop, and they are bright and look wonderful.
I am very pleased, and have asked them to come back in two weeks (not all 3, and not for 4 hours). I happily recommend this company!

"They came on time and not within a crazy big window. The plumber was thoughtful about his shoes. He accomplished the work with very little input from me (getting 3 kids off to school) and the best part is that my toilets don't run at intervals that wake me up. Awesome job.

"They converted an extra bedroom into my office with a handcrafted storage bench made into the former closet as a nook with book shelves. I always get compliments on it."

Buying plants from a nursery is one thing, but ensuring that they are properly planted is another. While you might not need to hire a landscaper for every plant that you buy from a nursery, it’s a great idea to have their expertise and experience to plant larger items, like burlapped trees or specialty plants like rose bushes. Even better, before making a trip to a nursery to buy new plants, consult a local landscaper to test your soil for pH levels, soil texture, and phosphorus and potassium levels to help determine the best plants for your area.
Garden nurseries offer many plants to make your home and garden flourish. In-container plants are one option, including perennials, annuals, and small shrubs or trees. Large hedge plants and roses are called bare-root plants, meaning they have not been potted. Finally, you will see some burlapped plants, typically larger trees and shrubs with burlap wrapping around the bottom.
The best time to plant is between spring and autumn. Springtime weather is typically mild and is when nurseries start to bloom. When the summer weather arrives and it’s hot out, it’s best to avoid planting bare-root plants, but you can still plant many in-container varieties. The first sign of fall is another great opportunity to plant biennials if you live in southern states, or a lovely vegetable garden up north.
If you’re hiring a landscaper to plant the garden of your dreams, you do not need to provide them with plants that you bought yourself from a nursery. While you certainly can provide your landscaper with plants, keep in mind that some nurseries provide discounts to landscaping companies, therefore potentially lowering your materials cost. Beyond the cost of the plants themselves, you need to have additional materials like topsoil and mulch for the project. Most likely, your landscaper can get a discount on these materials as well, so it’s worth speaking with them before making any large purchases.
While there are over 400,000 different flowering plants worldwide, there are five main types of flowers. These flower types are based on their lifecycles, giving each type a unique personality. These types are:
Annuals, which complete their entire life cycle within a single growing season.
Perennials, which the tops die off in the winter but regrow in spring.
Biennials, which complete their entire life cycle within two years.
Hybrids, which exhibit either annual or perennial behaviors depending on location
Flowering shrubs, which are small to medium-sized perennial woody plants, such as shrubs or evergreens.
