"Mauricio and Crisjan were the initial sales reps who came to examine the issue and they took the time to test drainage that might have potentially been creating the water issue. They offered a reasonable solution (sealing the visible cracks and holes in the concrete and I was contacted within a couple of days with an estimate and scheduling options. Sean was our tech and he did a fantastic job diagnosing the issue beyond just the cracks. He not only address all the holes and cracks in the concrete and mortar, he sealed up additional entry points above the foundation. He sourced additional materials to cover openings for cable lines. He went above and beyond and gave us measured information on how we should continue to monitor and treat this area as the house settles. He was thorough, informative, and provided excellent service in his work. I'm very glad that Sean was the technician sent to us and I would specifically request him for your projects."

"Howard Glancy came to inspect cracks in my home's concrete walls where the foundation was sinking. He, as a Certified Field Inspector, went over the whole house with me, explaining why the walls were cracking, and what should be done to alleviate the problem. Howard explained what JES Foundation would do, approximately how long it would take, and provided a quotation for the repairs. Besides raising the problem walls and ensuring they would be structural sound and guaranteed to stay that way for the remaining life of the house, he also advised me of how JES would repair minor cracks in the remaining building as well as having s sump pump installed to wick away any ground water from damaging any other parts of the structure. Mr. Glancy was very courteous; knowledgeable of his profession; and walked us through any questions we might have had concerning the processes. Due to the permit process taking so long, the work on the house won't start for a few months, and if Mr. Glancy is any indication of the professionalism of the rest of the JES Foundation personnel, I'm confident that the work will be done properly, in a timely manner and to my complete satisfaction."

"Jason was excellent and I will absolutely use AA Action Waterproofing for future projects. After having two other companies provide estimates for fixing our basement leak problem, I called AA Action for a third quote. The first two companies recommended extensive indoor and outdoor remedies with expensive price tags. I was a bit surprised because our leak is very minor. Enter Jason. Jason was friendly and clearly had extensive experience. He assessed the problem and pointed out that, while we could of course undertake the considerable actions the other companies recommended, it was more than likely that a simple fix of rerouting our gutter drain would fix our problem - a $20 fix that we could do on our own vs. the thousands of dollars in repairs recommended by the other companies. They even went above and beyond and fixed a downspout outside so water would flow away from the house. "I highly recommend DES! I arranged a consultation after a home inspection report indicated that there was moisture in our basement walls. I was worried that costly mitigation efforts would be required. "Mr. Peredo is responsive, professional, and cleaned up well after work was complete.  The work was done in one day (he and one coworker), and for the exact quoted price in the estimate.  He was not familiar with using different mortar for such an old house (1919) with lime mortar and softer brick (which is not unusual), but I just bought the proper materials myself and he used that, so it was no big deal.
He used some of the extra concrete to repair something I had not mentioned at no extra charge, which is a clear sign of someone who I want to work with again.  I'll call him again when the weather is warmer for more concrete work.  Highly recommend.
