Mr. Chapman sent two of his contractors to help me to build two tacks and organize and store all of my personal items on the shelves in part of the basement and garage. The young men worked really hard for 7 hours non stop and they were perfect gentleman who followed instructions very well and they knew exactly what to do. If you need a handyman. I recommend them.

The crew did a fine job. They were courteous and on time. It’s not easy to perform quality work standing on a ladder nearly 40 feet in the air, but he was patient and resourceful.

I needed to clean up the interior of a hall closet before new shelving and cabinetry could be installed through a different vendor. The work entailed removing some wood planks that supported the previous wire shelving, patching a large hole in the drywall, and resurfacing and painting those spots. I already had the paint on hand. They did an excellent job, had the best pricing relative to competitors, and were able to schedule the work very quickly after I reached out. Would definitely hire them again for handyman-type work -- and probably will at some point.

Chapin Handyman does excellent work! We needed our basement windows (which had just been replaced by another contractor) to have either a trim border or wallboard put around them and decided to get caught up on a few other tasks that we just weren't getting around to. Nestor was very responsive for giving us a price, broken out by project. Each worker who came through (a) knew what was asked for from Nestor and also (b) double-checked the needs with us. The windows look *amazing* and we're really happy to have the ceiling fans switched out, our towel rack back up in the master bath, and the installation of a proper basement light switch (after making a bad call on not putting it in when we finished it years ago.) We can't recommend them enough!

It went perfectly. The wallboard was expertly repaired in order to affix new wallpaper, and it looks great. The window had to be special ordered because it's not a size currently mass produced. .Nestor, the handyman, kept us aware of the delivery schedule and installed the window on the first date we had available. The new window looks and works great. I've already recommended Chapin Handyman to a neighbor a couple of days ago.

I very much recommend this contractor! Answers fast, gives extremely fair prices, gives fast appointments AND the show up on time! They are very polite and nice. They also clean up the station after they’re done! I find them reliable, quality work and fairly priced. They also work as long as they need to. For our house they: Fixed the window frames outside because the mortar was broken or eroded and when it stormed outside, it rained inside our house. They changed rotten wood, painted it, cemented places in the brick wall that needed it, put mortar/caulk and sealed 4 windows from the outside. The other project was putting bifold closet doors which included cutting them to size, installing the hardware, and painting them. This was the first time I’ve had to hire someone to fix things around the house that I couldn’t, and I was really nervous. I’m grateful I found Chapin Handyman LLC through Angie’s list! Oh! And they are insured and bonded, too!

The workers arrived promptly and demolished the old brick mailbox. The bricks were hauled away and the new mailbox installed. Very neat workers; would hire them again.

All work was done professionally and far better than I could have done myself. The price given for each job was reasonable and fair. I will definitely hire the Chapin Handyman again for other projects that I have around my house. They are first people I go to when I need something done.

I had a leaking water supply pipe in my home repaired, and now I needed to have it enclosed again as the original (wooden) box was removed during repair. I also needed the padding under the section of the carpet which had water damage replaced. I contacted Mr. Ramirez, and 40 minutes after the call he arrived at my home to give me a free estimate. We scheduled the work for the next week. His crew arrived on time and worked for three hours at a cost of $320. Their workmanship was exemplary, and I was very pleased with the result! I highly recommend Chapin Handyman for their professionalism and fair pricing. I had not used them before, and will now definately use them for any home improvement projects I may have in the future.

Excellent! A+++++! This is the best Angies List experience I have had. I will be using this handyman from now on. Fire Department forced entry into my home while I was not there because carbon monoxide detector malfunctioned. The front door jam was obliterated. Called Nestor because he had good reviews. He was at my house in 1 hour. He quoted me a fair price and did excellent work and he did it fast. I cannot say enough good things.

Nestor and team were very professional and punctual. They installed a ceiling fan in my bedroom where there was no wiring/fixture, so they cut holes in the walls/ceiling to pull over the wiring, installed the fan, and then patched and pained everything. When they left they cleaned up everything and you couldn't tell there had been holes in the ceiling just hours before. The whole thing took about 6 hours to do.
