"Deckmaster provided a free estimate for carpentry repair work on my wooden deck and fence, and also for a powerwash and reseal of the deck, deck stairs, and a fence. I contracted them to do the carpentry only (the powerwash/sealing was more than double the cost I normally pay). Scheduling was done within a week or so, and I was very pleased with the work Gustavo and his assistant did. The repair was done carefully and competently, and showed good attention to detail. I wanted to completely change my kitchen but I didn’t want to shoulder the expense of new cabinetry. I spoke to Brandon about my vision (which was to have a rustic, distressed look on my kitchen cabinetry with coordinated accent cabinetry around the kitchen) and he gave me a lot of helpful info on the phone, even before I signed the contract. He came out to my home to show me what they could do, to make sure it was to my liking. His estimate also seemed fair. Because I wanted a unique, distressed look on my cabinets, they created the look entirely by hand based on my description of what I wanted. It was painstaking and labor-intensive, but they worked efficiently. The entire job was done in a week (they worked through the weekend) and I’m thrilled with the result. They also re-painted my walls, in a color that complimented the new cabinetry, and they replaced a light fixture. In addition to be very talented and building me a kitchen that I love, they are genuinely good humans, which is even more important. I’d highly recommend JCB."

I asked him to repair the tongue and groove flooring and parts of the railing on a large wrap around porch His carpentry skills were truly excellent. He pressured washed, sanded and cleaned it, followed by a meticulous staining job. This entire porch, a central feature of my century old house, looks better than the day it was built and painted 25 years ago. He also did an excellent job repairing a split rail fence surrounding my ¾ acre property. I will hire him again without hesitation for any future work."
