  We have had NovaExteriors replace all our gutters, windows, sliding doors and front door over the last several years from the contractor grade products that the town house was built with. We have been very pleased with everything. They installed our steel front door about 10 years ago and we started to have issues with the deadbolt not aligning with the door jam and the rubber sweep wearing out over time. I contacted NovaExteriors, made my appointment and they arrived right on time and performed the needed maintenance that was required. The door is back to being perfect.   I worked with Daniel Diaz, start to finish. and when I say that I mean Daniel was here at every step in the process. Outstanding customer service! The roof job went perfectly, on time and very minimal issues with gutters were resolved quickly with Daniel checking in on the progress. Doors and window install went very smoothly as well. Minor glitch with the french doors but that was resolved quickly with Daniel working with the manufacturer to ensure all issues were resolved. Communication and coordination was exceptional.   This review is a bit overdue. Had new doors and windows installed in early 2021. I had a very good experience with this company and with Mr. Edward Dunn. He was very prompt in answering all my questions and also patient as he worked with me while I tried to decide among the various options for doors and windows. I felt he offered me very fair and reasonable prices compared to some other quotes I received. Am especially grateful for him even considering my business since my order was quite small, and I have been finding that, esp. during COVID times, many companies won't consider the 'smaller jobs.' There were a few problems during installation (one wrong window size, flaw in a door screen), but Mr. Dunn promptly addressed these and everything was resolved to my satisfaction. I absolutely love my new windows and doors. Oh and the installers were fantastic. Really nice guys. Did outstanding, beautiful work and didn't leave a mess. I am all around very, very happy I chose this companyshow more

  This is the second project we have hired Phoenix Homes Services (PHS) for, the first was a complete remodel of our bathroom which we still love. This time we worked with them to convert our garage to a brand-new room with full bath, laundry closet, and bonus shelving. The timeline for the project from start to finish has been about 6 months. In June we did an initial walk through with one of the principals to discuss options. Having worked on many homes in our neighborhood and in the area, he is well versed on some of the challenges that occur with remodeling older homes. As part of the walk through he explained areas that may require extra attention like electrical and foundations. This helped set expectations for the project and gave us information to use to set up a contingency fund as a backup plan. Once a general concept was agreed upon, we established the contract and began work on the design. The initial design from the designer really highlighted the possibility of the space. He patiently worked with us to adjust it so it perfectly fit our needs. Communication was good as they worked the permit process, and we got lucky that construction could start a couple of weeks earlier than planned (not guaranteed by PHS, it was truly luck). Demolition work can be loud and chaotic. Since we were living and working from home during this process. PHS made sure the site was as orderly a possible and did what they could to accommodate our meeting schedules. We also received assistance with picking finishes and items for the space. As warned, issues were identified with the electrical and foundation. Because of the initial prep discussion, we were prepared and able to work with PHS on a solution that brought everything up to code and would support the room. We were provided weekly email updates on the status of the project and the crew showed up on time every day. Each step of the project was explained, and recommendations were presented so we could make the decision that was best for us. Everyone we worked with was kind and patient, which is so important when involved in something that can create so much anxiety. Our project was completed within the timeline provided. One of the nicest surprises was with the bonus shelving, which I just asked to be built. Because PHS focuses on the details, the shelving was solidly built and painted. I was able to begin using it while the rest of the project was completed. Overall, we are ecstatic with the results; everyone has expressed how lovely it is. The process was well managed, and we would definitely work with them on any future renovations we needshow more
