Paul was wonderful. Very professional. He cleaned up when finished. Workmanship was exceptional. He left the rehung cabinetry looking better and more secure than the original installer. Would definitely hire again.

A P Carpentry built and installed a new kitchen cabinet to accommodate a larger oven, which also involved moving existing cabinetry and matching paint to our existing cabinets. The work was very professionally done and performed right on time. We couldn't be happier with our new cabinet and configuration! We will definitely use A P Carpentry for future projects, both in the kitchen and throughout our home!

It was slightly difficult to get a time set up, but i chalk that up to the weather and the season. The work was very great quality, and we will be using them again for any wood repair needed around the outside of our house.

Paul was very responsive and easy to work with and I am very happy with the outcome of both projects. He suggested using molding to cover some of the cut bricks instead of having a mason re-brick the opening which looked great and saved me 3,000 dollars. I thought his pricing was very fair.

Work completed based on what we wanted, the project was completed in a timely manner. Some minor imperfections but overall we are satisfied with the quality of the work.

The job turned out amazing. We used bamboo plywood which is very hard to work with. We hit a few road blocks in the design and Paul came up with good solutions to overcome the obstacles. This is the second custom job we hired Paul for. He build our custom shelves and cabinets for Thrive Pharmacy last year.

I am very happy with the built-ins AP Carpentry put in. Paul was friendly and professional. He visited to see the space, understood my taste and the look I was going for, sketched a design tailored for the space and then built the bookcases offsite and installed them onsite. John did sanding and painting and was very detailed and perfectionist. The install took a day longer than expected, but the work looks fantastic and transforms the room in exactly the way I wanted. I would hire them again.

Paul is a great carpenter. He works quickly and is very detailed. I found his prices to be reasonable and his work of the highest caliber. The crown moulding came out seamless and adds a nice finished touch to the basement and first floor. The oak staircase and railing gives a more open and finished feel to the basement. I recommend AP Carpentry and will use them again in the future.

Paul is great. We had him put in a custom cabinet in our son's bedroom to fill an otherwise dead space because our house is so old and awkward. He came out right away, gave an estimate he stayed true to, and within a week, the whole job was done. I gave him the design and he copied it exactly as I had "sketched." He also used great materials rather than any sort of mock wood substances. It's nice to be able to work directly with Paul rather than a whole bunch of different representatives. It's refreshing that the person who comes to quote your work and look at it is the person who does the work. Most of my experiences with contractors and hiring specialists involves calling one person at their office, having another come out, and then a group of people you've never interacted with doing the work. It's comforting to know that he knew all the nuances of the project and nothing was at risk at getting lost in translation and overall, it saves on the costs that go into running a business with a massive staff. We will definitely be hiring Paul again for our upcoming projects.

My upper kitchen cabinet was coming off the wall. I called Paul based on his reviews on Angie's List. He returned my call quickly and talked to me about the problem over the phone. He arranged to fit me in rather quickly. He really knows his stuff and was very professional. I would absolutely hire him again.

Paul was very responsive. I called him one day and he came out the next day to give me an estimate. He was very detail oriented in reviewing my project and making suggestions. He spent quite a bit of time with me planning how we were going to do the project. He is very creative and a skilled craftman. He is a perfectionist and works slow and steady to do an expert job. His price I thought was very reasonable, especially considering he had to make a custom light rail and crown molding and he installed my microwave and under-counter lights. I noticed one of the cabinets were a little crooked and he came back out the next day to tweak it. I will definitely use Paul again for any and all carpentry work I have. He is personable, professional and does a great job!

Paul worked hard to match my existing cabinets. I don't know how he did it but it is perfect! Paul sometimes came with another man to help. They worked well together. The clean up at the end of each day was thorough. It took 4-5 days to do the job. My kitchen looks fresh and updated. I am so pleased with Paul's artistry and execution of a job well done.

Another successful project! This was my third experience with AP Carpentry (fourth if you count a room remodel that Paul and Mike did for my brother) and again, the results speak for themselves. The deck they built is in the neighborhood of 700 square feet and made of composite deck boards. Shape-wise, the deck consists of 2 rectangles connected by a walkway with a long built-in bench on each pad. The deck was complete in about 3 weeks, but probably would have been less if the decking board had not been discontinued mid-way through the project. The deck is very solid and looks great.

This is the second large project that Paul and Mike have done for me. Essentially, they acted as carpenters and GC for my kitchen remodel, connecting me with all the other suppliers I needed for the job (cabinets and electrical mainly). On the carpentry side, they demolished a wood burning stove that was in the center of my kitchen and replaced it with a beautiful 6'x5' kitchen island. They set the cabinets and repaired the wood floor surrounding the area. When my new refrigerator arrived, they also helped squeeze it into a space that was 1/2 " to small for it by shaving down a side wall. The finished product is beautiful and I was very happy with the professionalism they showed on the job.

Paul, the owner and carpenter was professional, considerate of our priorities, and very congenial. We thought the cost was an excellent value. We have asked him to return for additional carpentry work.

We contacted Paul to get an estimate, which took a little longer than expected, but they took only one day finish the job.

In a word: Fantastic. We hired Paul, the owner of AP Carpentry, upon the recommendation of a relative. He is a carpenter by trade and did all the framing and trim himself (with the help of a partner). He subcontracted the drywall, plumbing and electrical work, and we were very pleased with the companies he brought in for that work. From our initial telephone conversations and measurement meetings with him, he was professional, prompt and interested in making sure that he understood exactly what we wanted our finished product to look like. He estimated that the job would take 3-4 weeks to complete and the job was finished exactly on schedule. He did a great job organizing all workers and the total cost of the project came in exactly on budget. Considering how pleasant he was to work with and how smoothly the basement finishing went, we're looking forward to having him do future projects in our home.
