The consultant came to my home within days of my phone call. They measured and layed out design at the same time. I got the price and scheduled the work for the following week.

Once again I am very happy with my new storage unit. This is the ninth project ( over two homes) with CBD and as always, from designing to installing, the process was easy and complete. Dena helped me tweak my design ideas and add details and the crew arrived to install right on time complete with face masks and gloves. They left the place spotless as usual too. I’m just sorry I have no more closets lor storage needs.

From the first phone call to obtain a quote to the install everything went great. We have a small walk-in-closet in our master bedroom. The Closets By Design professional took a different approach to the project then other vendors providing slightly more storage. The back wall was used for the “double-hung” installation which freed up space to allow us to easily walk in to the closet. A custom closet is a luxury and can be an expensive proposition. The Closets by Design staff and installer were very punctual (very important to me) and professional throughout the process. The final product was worth the expense.

Everything went perfectly, from design to installation. Laila was our designer. She handled everything with patience and humor. The installation team did a superb job, right down to cleaning up after the job. I definitely recommend Closets by Design. Just remember you get what you pay for

Wonderful! Mary met me at our new home, measured, and talked to me about what I wanted for each closet. She was very sweet and didn't rush the appointment, even though it got a bit late. She was able to send images of each closet within a few days and we placed the order. When they guys came to install, they had the work around construction that was still going on inside the home, and they did, with no problem. The installation guys were great! They did an absolutely beautiful job! I would definitely hire them again, no question!!

It went spectacularly well! Lori Parisi, the designer, met with us, listened to our needs, suggested certain closet organization configurations and gave us our choices for types of materials. She designed a plan which was in keeping with our needs and our pocketbook. The installer, Eric, came on time, worked conscientiously and efficiently and got it all done in a timely way with no problems. He cleaned up after his work, and was kind enough to cart away the old materials.

The work went quite well and as advertised. I rated the price as fair because they were not the lowest cost option. However, the blend of thoughtful consultation, design and professional installation made the slightly higher cost worth it.

Laila did the perfect design job. She was meticulous in measurements and finishes, and it really shows. She guided us through the entire process with patience and humor. She was a joy to work with. I chose the shoe racks, drawers, and hanging elements, and she made it happen. I even got the ironing board feature - love it. The installation team was totally professional. They showed up on time, did a fantastic job, and cleaned up after themselves perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend Closets by Design if you need closet design/organization.

Installation was originally slated for two days however the workers put in one long day (from early morning to 7pm) to complete the installation in one day - very professional installation as they had to make unforeseen adjustments during the installation process to make the closets look outstanding. Highly recommend Closets by Design.

The shelving units are wonderful. There is a lot of extra space and everything is well organized. The problem is that my house is 63 years old. Drywall in one of the closets (pantry) was brand new and the drywall in the bedroom closets were 63 years old. The one bedroom closet and the pantry were done really well and nicely. The one in the office looked good, but the installer cracked the drywall, made a half hearted attempt at repair, didn't say anything about having created the crack with the pressure of the boards on the drywall or his poor attempt at repair and left. My husband did not see the crack right away, only after the fellow left. I called to complain - I would not have been so miffed if the installer had actually said something. The company offered to pay for whoever came to make the repair. My husband purchased the drywall tape and mud and made the repair himself. We do now know the drywall is having problems in places, but would have appreciated a comment from the installer. We are really happy with the shelving. We picked this company because of the nice work they did in my mother's apartment in Maplewood.

We had our two walk-in closets installed by Closets By Design yesterday and I can?t begin to tell you how pleased I am. First, the installers arrived on time, ready to work. They worked for about 3 hours to complete the whole job, and when they left, there was no mess left behind. Their planning process really paid off with a design that completely accommodates my needs (even with some extra shelving space). The combination of their shelves for my shoes, along with The Container Store bins that I already had, creates a wonderful arrangement of my shoes, allowing extra shelves for jeans, pants, etc. After moving all of my stuff into the closet, I can?t find a single thing I would have done differently with the space. It was a total pleasure working with Dena, the designer! I appreciated the amount of time she was willing to spend with me for the design, and the fact that she was willing to make an extra trip out in order to modify and finalize the designs. It is so nice to find and do business with such a professional organization!

From the beginning of the project until the end I had complete confidence in them. They were extremely helpful in helping me replace the damaged pieces and they scheduled the installation quickly.
The were punctual, courteous and professional at all times. They have wonderful team all the way around.
My install went smoothly and my CLOSET by DESIGN system is back in place and it looks awesome.
I would highly recommend them any time.

CBD was the second local closet designer we visited. In comparison to the other company, who is also prominent in the area, CBD showed they were the superior performer in terms of price AND product. Their installed cost was easily 25% less for the same product...and CBD staff were much friendlier.
From the time we entered the CBD showroom, and, then, through the design and installation, we could tell the office was very customer friendly and really wanted to make us happy.
We tend to ask many questions before we purchase products and services. The office manager, Karen, patiently answered all of our questions, and pleasantly showed us examples from each product on display in the showroom that helped addressed our questions.
Their designer, Nancy, contacted us quickly to visit our house for design purposes. She graciously reviewed our own concept drawings, making suggestions for improvement that worked better.
Their installer David, was especially terrific. Even though someone had broken into his van and stolen most of his tools on the morning of our closet installation, before the appointment, he went out, bought tools he needed, and came to our house on time. Even though the day had been stressful for him, he was still very friendly and was able to complete the install on the day promised!
We wholeheartedly recommend CBD in Manassas, and we would definitely request their service again.
