The hood is artistic and makes a statement. Custom craftmanship shows with the refacing of the island with darker gray laminate and the addition of glass cabinet doors. Simon Laurenco was very neat, precise, and professional. He worked on this project virtually solo for two whole weeks. Craig Newton came for the hood placement and was very skilledd as well and had some handy tools and gadgets. I am grateful to Adam Chandler, the consultant who did the initial visit and answered all our questions. Excellent service all around."

I spoke to Brandon about my vision (which was to have a rustic, distressed look on my kitchen cabinetry with coordinated accent cabinetry around the kitchen) and he gave me a lot of helpful info on the phone, even before I signed the contract. He came out to my home to show me what they could do, to make sure it was to my liking. His estimate also seemed fair. Once the job started, Brandon and Chris and Joe were kind and communicative, letting me know what they were doing each day and checking in for feedback. Because I wanted a unique, distressed look on my cabinets, they created the look entirely by hand based on my description of what I wanted. It was painstaking and labor-intensive, but they worked efficiently. The entire job was done in a week (they worked through the weekend) and I’m thrilled with the result. They also re-painted my walls, in a color that complimented the new cabinetry, and they replaced a light fixture. In addition to be very talented and building me a kitchen that I love, they are genuinely good humans, which is even more important. I’d highly recommend JCB."
