"We needed to have our 40-year-old bathtub converted into a walk-in shower for my elderly mother and have the bathroom flooring replaced. After an exhaustive search of potential companies, I came across Mako Shower & Bath. Shawn visited us for a consultation and gave us an opportunity to explore the different design options. He was very thorough and provided all of the information we needed about how it would be installed. For accessibility, we decided to have a folding seat and two grab bars installed in the shower. Once all of the parts were delivered to Mako, the install itself took less than a day. The installers, Kevin and Riley, did a fantastic job and we are extremely pleased with the new shower and flooring. It not only looks amazing, it addresses all of the safety and accessibility issues we had with the old bathtub and floor."

They explained everything to my mom, who was home, and called me to verify what was needed for the repair. The repair on took only 5 minutes. A few months ago, we had another company fix the toilet. Apparently they did not properly install it and it cause a slow leak. What impressed me is that Cipriano could have really charged a lot and over sold what needed to be done but they did not. He repaired exterior house trim, installed an electrical outlet, repaired drywall, painted interior rooms, and installed a new tile floor. He pays attention to every precise detail, and the results are excellent. He is very responsive, organized and neat, and I felt perfectly comfortable giving him a key to access our home while we were not there. Bobby was more than capable of tackling any job we threw at him, and I definitely recommend him for your home projects."

"The project was supposed to be simple, easy, and take three weeks. It ended up taking close to 2 months at which point I was pulling my hair out. Simply put, the GC was never on site and did not manage the project. The painters and flooring guys did an ok job and any issues with them could have been ameliorated if the GC stopped by to check on things. I found it very difficult to schedule even a weekly meeting with him. When I pointed out things such as sloppy paint lines or uneven etching on floors, I was told I was "too picky" and "would never be happy." I blue taped countless items that if any GC took 5 min to walk through project, should have had fixed initially. Particularly at the end, the site was a total mess. When I asked for the floor stain from my back steps to be cleaned up, the GC accused me of it being that way before project. When installing kitchen backsplash, black grout seeped into the new marble counters. Everything seemed difficult and contentious and it did not have to be that way at all."

"Jim arrived on time and got to work immediately. He was very friendly and professional. He had to drill holes into the tile in both of my bathrooms to install the grab bars. The master bathroom didn’t have studs that he could use, so he had to use anchors. This meant drilling additional holes and it took more time than usual. He left the bathrooms neat and clean. I also had him caulk the bathtub in the guest bathroom. He did a great job overall! I just wish that it wasn’t as expensive as it was. That’s why I gave the price a “B” rating."
