Flooring Sales and Installation
JJ and his crew installed new flooring throughout our home. It was not without it's challenges due to the age and condition of the house and the spiral staircase but they made it happen on budget. The end result is beautiful.

General Remodeling
Signature Contracting did a great job on the work they did for us. They were on time every day and the work was done when they said it would. Their estimate was competitive with other estimates we received and what they quoted us at is what we paid. They also answered any questions we had and were willing to comeback and address a few small things after the work was done. Overall a great experience and we plan to use them again for future projects.

I was referred to JJ (owner) by an acquaintance in my neighborhood who was very pleased with his quality of work. After getting a few estimates, I chose to go with him and couldn't be happier with how my kitchen remodel and bathrooms (flooring, hardware, tile) turned out. He had a great team of guys come on a Saturday and they knocked out the majority of the work in one day. Very professional and easy to work with. They took great care in protecting my floors and did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards. It was difficult for me to find someone I can trust with remodeling needs since I am always looking to make home improvements and am not confident to do it on my own. Now I know I have someone I can trust who is fair with his price for labor,. A side note: I purchased a lot of the materials myself but asked for his opinion since seeing his previous work and seeing he has an eye for detail. I plan on contacting him soon to complete my unfinished laundry room.

JJ did an awesome job on my bathroom! He had to come in and fix a botched job by our previous contractor. He and his team were very polite and great to work with. They showed up on time daily, completed the project on time, and cleaned up after themselves. JJ was easy to communicate with and was able to deal with my very picky self! I would hands down hire him and his team again! My bathroom looks fabulous!

They were very responsive, asked for pictures and gave me suggestions. I was very pleased and felt that their customer service was excellent especially knowing they could not physically service my need. I would recommend them based on my experience.

I'm obsessed with how beautifully things turned out. My husband and I both just stand in the doorways glancing at how gourgues the rooms turned out. But we have been wanting to remodel for a couple years. But never feeling comfortable enough with a contracter we had spoken to. Until Jj was referred to us after speaking to him about our ideas he really listened and made it a dream come true!!! Him and his crew were very polite and professional And made sure things were kept tidy before they left for the day.

We are extremely satisfied and consider ourselves lucky and blessed for having met J.J. He is not only the owner, but is the designer as well. We saved thousands of dollars in our kitchen and basement renovations because we relied on J.J.’s experience and design acumen without having to hire an interior designer. J.J. ‘s Signature Contracting is a one-stop shop – design, delivery, and installation. Their integrity, workmanship, timeliness and personal care are above and beyond anyone we have ever dealt with. We discussed what we wanted, he came up with a design, recommended all the materials, delivered everything and installed it, all with superior results. The end result exceeded all our expectations by a huge margin. The resulting work looks and feels like something that cost twice as much! The planning process was fine, the offer was reasonable, the owner was responsive to questions in the planning process and made changes as requested. A down payment of 14300 was paid at the beginning of June for material purchases. Initial start date was late July, then pushed back several time by either contractor or homeowner. I decided to cut back the extent of the project and the contractor wanted to renegotiate total price. At this point both sides agreed to not continue with the project as it seemed unlikely that both sides would be satisfied. Contractor agreed to r es turn paid refund. This took several weeks and reminders but only $14,000 of the $14,300 were returned. I immediately asked for the remaining $300 but never heard back from the contractor. I cannot say anything as bout work or material because no work was done and no material purchased in the 6+ weeks the contractor had possession of the deposit

"We were sorry that we were u able to make this project happen. The customer changed the scope of the project a number of times and changed the start date numerous times as well. We met with the customer several times for materials and design and was only compensated $300 for the time we put in. In the end we both agreed it was best to part ways."

the reconstruction of the bathroom is solid. We have no structural issues. We were not thrilled with some of the finishes of products used, but apparently the contractor had not worked with the tile used or the fixtures before. We selected and provided all the products since we have done installations in other homes using them without issue. The reason for the rating lies in the follow up. They are supposed to provide a 1 year warranty. this project took 4 months and was finished in early December 2017. Shortly after we contacted them to let them know that the heated floors were not working. We simply could not set the thermostat! Turns out that between the contractor who installed the heating and the Master electrician who installed the wiring and the thermostat, no one installed the sensors which allows the floors and thermostats to work. they came and did some type of a work around since the floors had already been tiled etc. The master bedroom worked, but the hall bath never has . I contacted him in May 2018 to let him know that there was a constantly blinking red light on the thermostat which could not be turned off. He was supposed to come the next week and to date we have never seen or heard from him. We had to remove the thermostat from the wall and will pay another electrician to rewire it correctly since it clearly was not. . The 1 year warranty is over, so we do not expect to see them again.

We had an estimate about the work from other companies with a thousand dollars price and they are the only company that provided the cheapest price which is $500 for the service, they also provide additional works for free. He works on weekend, he came immediately because I need him right away. I'm happy that I dealt with a company who is a top notch and have cheapest price. Very professional.

JJ and his crew did a great job and were extremely pleasant to work with! We initially hired them for our bathroom shower (which I gave them an A rating for in May '18; photo below.) We then hired them to install our kitchen. This was an old cottage so spaces are often uneven and hard to work with, and we were installing the kitchen into a space that had not been a kitchen for many decades. So it was an entirely new installation and not a straightforward one... Our counter tops were 35+ year old butcher block from my family home. They had to be cut and reassembled like a jigsaw puzzle, but they'd aged differently, and some included a back splash, others a back splash w/shelf. JJ did a great job of matching them up. He also worked very well with the designer at our on-line cabinet company (the cabinets arrived pre-assembled). Additionally, we were using a large antique kitchen sink, with decidedly non-standard proportions, so JJ had to custom-build a cabinet for that and make it work in our space. All in all, it was not a cookie-cutter job by any means. JJ has good ideas, runs a good crew, they all work hard, and I would hire them again. We're very happy with our old-looking new kitchen!

Our new kitchen is to die for! The design JJ came up with far exceeded my expectations and he delivered exactly what he said he would. There were a couple of delays due to manufacturer backordered items but those were out of his control and he communicated them with us ahead of time. We always knew where we stood and had confidence that the job would be done right and well. Highly recommended!!!

They did a fantastic job and were delightful to work with! Very professional, punctual, and the quality exceeded our expectations. One year warranty on the work to top it off really gave us peace of mind. We had an older, very dated kitchen and he really brought it back to life and made it a room that we can feel proud to cook and entertain in. Will definitely use them again!

I am completely satisfied with the work. Mr. Jafur and his staff were exemplary in both workmanship and professionalism. Everyone was very patient with me, especially when I changed my mind a few times about what I wanted. Mr. Jafur also made suggestions that improved the remodel. He suggested recessed lighting in the kitchen. He also suggested a light over the shower. Both look fantastic and make my kitchen and bathroom brighter and it was nice to have increased visibility. The vendors he suggested for the new countertops and cabinets were fantastic. Comments from my family were "Wow, this is great!" and "It's like you have a new house"

We have ceramic tile countertops that were installed when our home was built in 1996. Over time a few tiles had gotten minor cracks and the grout had become worn and difficult to maintain. We considered replacing the tile, but after looking at the amount of work that would be involved and cost of replacement, we decided to explore the possibility of regrouting. I contacted Signature Contracting and corresponded with JJ, sending him photographs and measurements. He confirmed that he could do the job. Given that it was a rather small job and that we live in a fairly remote location, he explained that he would have to find a time to work us into his schedule. As we were in no rush, that was fine. It turned out that a window of two days became available, so we went ahead with the work. JJ and his assistant showed up in the morning of the first day. They were a pleasure to work with. JJ discussed the materials he would use, covered options, and work began. Some tiles were replaced with extra tiles we had, the counters were regrouted, and the seam between the counters and backsplash was recaulked. As it happened, the project was completed in a single day, which worked well for both of us. The counters look beautiful. We were very happy with our experience and are glad we know there is someone we can contact if any other projects come up.

Deck and Porch Service
We hired Signature Contracting to build a front porch addition on our home. JJ and his team were professional and supportive, listening to our needs and offering expert recommendations. We ran into some complications, and they stepped up to the plate, went above and beyond to keep their promise. They completed the job in a timely manner and cleaned up afterwards, not leaving a mess behind. I’ve worked in HVAC and have been around the construction field for the last 35 years, so I can say, without a doubt, that they do quality work. We are very pleased with the results.

When we started we thought all we needed was tiling on a new shower that had been built in a new bathroom (by a different contractor), but it turned out the shower hadn't been built properly, so in addition to tiling we needed Signature Contracting to rebuild the shower walls. Then we added a niche and made a couple of other changes on the fly... JJ was very patient, he offered up good ideas, and we're very happy with the final product. Based on this, we decided to have him install our new kitchen as well, which we're just getting started on. I have a lot of confidence in Signature Contracting!

They did good work. Got us a great deal on cabinet and granite pricing, helped design the project, and delivered on what they said they would do. We wanted to remodel our outdated kitchen and they helped us with flooring, installed all new cabinets and granite countertops, farmhouse style kitchen sink, nice updated light fixtures, pretty much replaced everything we had. It looks great and my wife is happy!
