"I have had a service contract with McCrea Heating and Cooling since I purchased my condo unit new 7 1/2 years ago which included 2 maintenance visits a year. My current contract expired yesterday so I called to renew my service contract and upgrade from "Bronze" to "Silver." The representative took my charge card information over the phone. I asked if the contract was in effect as of today. They said "yes." Then I tried to schedule a service call (my unit was serviced a little over a month ago and now the condo wasn't cooling.) I was told then that the Silver Contract would NOT be in effect after all. The difference in price between Bronze and Silver is the cost of a diagnostic visit so they were getting the money one way or another. My long time history with the company did not persuade them to honor the contract I had just paid for. They wanted to charge me $98 to have my problem diagnosed under the Bronze contract that I pointed out was already expired. I was told the representative "misspoke" and should have told me they would have to send out someone to determine whether the furnace they have been maintaining for the past 7 years (with the most recent service call just a month ago) would "qualify" for the Silver plan. So, I cancelled the order for the Silver Plan. I called another company who came out for $30 and determined the problem was a clogged condensation drain. This drain was supposed to have been "blown out" when the regular maintenance was done by McCrea just a month ago, but obviously was not. The water was backed up in the drain pipe and filled the pan under the furnace/AC unit which turned off the AC. Now that everything is working again, I am seeking a different maintenance service plan provider. McCrea has competitive service contract prices, but if they have no customer loyalty, and the maintenance work is not done properly, maybe it's a question of "you get what you pay for.""

HydroClean sent a 2-person team. The men were very professional, wore protective covers on their shoes. 
It took about 3-4 hours to vacuum and shampoo 3 rooms and a set of stairs. I got a pair of shoe covers so that I could walk on the still wet carpet. It took about 8-12 hours for the carpet to dry out. The results were immediate - from disgusting, the carpet turned to beautiful. 
After about 2 weeks, a few of the old stains started to show up, but I don't think I can really blame the HydroClean for that. I have no idea what the source of those stains is, neither does HC advertise they would remove all the stains. 
Overall - a very high quality work, totally worth it. I used a $400 coupon for the job worth $600.
