"Very impressed with Pro-Tech HVAC Home! I put in an Angie s List request Sun eve since my AC wasn t working right. The texted me right away and scheduled a tech to come out the next morning from 9-11 am. I got a text about 15 min prior advising that a tech would be there ~9:30. Chris, who happens to be the owner, did an extremely thorough job in diagnosing the issues... and double checked his work by ruling all other possibilities out. You could tell right away he s a master of his trade! After going to get the part, by the time was all was said and done, my air was being conditioned by a little after noon! He was friendly, considerate of tracking dirt in, took pics/video (so I wouldn t have to crawl in the crawl space), and explained everything to me. He genuinely cares about his work and giving customers fair, quality work. Absolutely recommend this company."

"I had them replace my entire HVAC system (furnance + AC). They did a great job through the whole process. Out of four quotes I received, they were the only ones that took the time to do a full heating and cooling load calculation for my house when they came to do an estimate in addition to making detailed measurements of our utility room to make sure anything they installed would fit. They gave me three proposals ranging from low-end, mid-range, and high end options and explained the equipment in each of them in detail, including documenting all the model numbers, efficiency ratings, and specs. What they recommended matched up with my research I did prior to receiving estimates. They were very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional so I gave them the job. The crew arrived on time, worked hard the whole day, were respectful of my house, and did not require supervision (although, they told me I was more than welcome to ask questions and watch anything they were doing). They cleaned up, explained the warranty and rebate options with all the paperwork already filled out so that all I had to do was sign--they even mailed both the warranty and rebate off for me. The whole process went great. While their prices were fair they were not the cheapest, but I have no doubt they did a great job, didn't cut corners, and will stand by their work if I experience any problems. They are a reasonably sized HVAC business and not a one-man-band shop like many places in the area, so I know they will likely still be around through the life of the warranty and are well staffed to respond to emergencies, including a 24/7 emergency service number. Overall, we're very happy with the new system and it's a huge improvement over what it replaced--both the AC and furnace are much quieter than the old units, more energy efficient, and perform better. It's been a month since the install and everything has been working fine without problems."

"They were by far the best salesman. They did use and leave the manufactures sales aids. Also the only contractor to leave a complete check list of everything that would be done. Andrew was the only one out of four to point out the fact that the old furnace was installed in a non serviceable position for removal of the circulation fan. Extra work was done to correct this problem. Next day instillation was just as impressive. I met four people from the company, and all were professional. All of the above came with the best price. "I couldn't be happier with the service I received from McCrea Heating and Air Conditioning Services of Maryland. Upon returning from vacation on a 100 degree July day, I found my old HVAC system basically dead (90 degrees in my kitchen!) ... Shane immediately came out to provide an estimate, we signed a contract on the spot, and he kindly provided some freon to hold me over until the new system could be installed. Brian and Nick showed up exactly on time to install the unit, used drop cloths to protect my flooring, and were exceedingly polite and professional throughout. I spoke with Janel and she quickly scheduled an appointment for their expert (Chris) to come out to our house and talk us through our options. He educated us on the different systems on the market and the pros and cons of each. He was honest and not pushy (unlike some companies in the area?). Suspecting that Supreme Service Today's quote was very high, I turned to Angi to get competitive bids. Since I had a bid at a much more reasonable price from Alan at One Hour Heating and Air, I contacted Supreme Service Today and asked for a price match. They were willing to match the much lower price from One Hour Heating and Air, so I gave the business to the HVAC contractor that I've been working with for a few years. Good deal!
