Perfect! Doug is an expert Plumber that knows private water system. He removed the old equipment and installed the new. Everything is still working great. The work was done almost 13 years ago. We used all Top of the line Gould Equipment. I probably should call Doug to replace it again because breakdowns with the water system can leave you stranded.

Everything went great. The old hot water heater was removed and then the new hot water heater was installed where I requested it to be with all of the plumbing done in a neat professional manner. It was a pleasure working with Bamford plumbing and I have been very happy with the work they have done. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

He explained all the parts that were needed, how an expanding pipe would be best since my mud room--where the pipe runs through--is not heated, and how the outside faucet mounting would be a bit tricky, and I couldnt be happier. I can clean my backyard, water plants, no problems at all. He also replaced my bathroom showerhead in about two minutes and I have perfect water pressure now. He was friendly, affordable, informative, and amenable. I look forward to hiring him again!

Doug came out in the middle of a snow storm to fix my Furnace after not having heat for a few days.  As always, Doug was very professional, honest, and performed great work.  He was very meticulous taking apart my heating system and made sure everything was in working order before he left.   I would definitely use him again!

We have used Doug 2 other times before, and had nothing but great experiences with him. When our pipe froze, he immediately came out to assist. And when I say immediately, I mean 11:30 PM.  We had hoped to see him in the next day or so, but he came that evening. We were more than appreciative.  The job required him to come back the next morning to complete, and he was here less than 10 hours later. We were without water for less than a day thanks to Doug.  I cant begin to tell you how professional he is, he took the time to explain why this occurred, what would prevent it in the future, and what to expect going forward.  With Doug, everything is above board, and there are no hidden costs.

I called for a leak near my shower.  Had spread into the adjacent room and I was concerned about the floor below.  The person who answered the phone was very professional and after checking their schedule realized that they couldn't get anyone out to see me within the next couple of weeks.  Seeing as it was a potentially significant issue, they apologized and referred me to Aqua Plumbing.

The repairman called to let us know he was running late which was greatly appreciated. A part needed to be ordered and the repair was completed within two days. Unfortunately, there was welding/soldering involved which left permanent "stains" on our shower floor.

Saved me $$! BGE home checked my furnace and said I needed to replace lots of stuff. Doug came out and identified the real problem and saved me hundreds of dollars. Definitely would recommend this company.

The service from Bamford Plumbing & Heating Inc. went great.  He kept his scheduled appointments and had no need to come back because he did everything 100% the first time through.  He is a general plumber, but his knowledge of boilers was exceptional, I learned a lot.

Bamford Plumbing is all they are cracked up to be and more. Service was excellent and done perfectly and within an acceptable time frame.
I had an appointment with Bamford for 9am. They promptly called me at 9 when it was apparent he would not be there when promised. I was totally fine with this.
He arrived on time later as stated. Doug came in and I showed him the issues. He clearly explained to me what he was going to do in a way that was easily understandable.
He asked to see the shower (a separate problem I wanted a quote on only) and explained what he thought was wrong and what the range of cost would be depending on what he found while fixing it. We agreed that it would be done another day.
Doug went to work on the faucet and water line as agreed. He was quick and thorough with his work. He showed me everything he did, the new valves added and how everything was supposed to work. He also went over how to make simple adjustments to the faucet that may be needed in the future. He showed me how to turn off the water if was ever needed. When he was done, he cleaned up everything. Lastly, he explained his guarantees and the guarantee on the faucet I bought.
It was a pleasure to deal with Doug and I look forward to making another appointment with him soon.  I highly recommend Doug and Bamford Plumbing. No wonder he has a straight "A" rating!

Very professional and helpful.

Doug is very responsive to requests and tries to accommodate you. He is above board and makes sure that permits are pulled and inspections are done, if required. He does everything by the book, does not cut corners. I ask a lot of questions and he is always willing to explain the reasons behind what he does and how. Great company, highly recommended. I'm having him back for some additional work this summer.

Excellent responsiveness and communication.  Final price was exactly as quoted.  The work completed was in one of my rental properties and I have not heard anything about this so I assume the work was successful.
Kristin set up the appointment directly with the tenant and confirmed back to me by email promptly.  You can always get either Doug or Kristen on the phone immediately which is rare today.
